If I knew I was guilty and had millions of dollars to hire the best lawyers in AZ I too would deny a breathalyzer.. Keim got caught red handed and he knew it. Cops lie a lot and if this wasnt such a high profile case then nothing would have changed. Chandler PD knows this that's why they were quick to retract the arresting officers statements. You think they would have done that for any of us? No.

ok zaz what now? you gonna admit you were 100% wrong? time to change your vote or prove you are a homer for some other team as you put it. some of us wanted to wait until we knew more and now we know more, like the cop lied. do you see keim almost hit another car? nope. cop claims he did. did you see him "almost hit the curb". nope cop claims he did. do you see keim claim to be director of security? cop clams he did. then the cop called in someone else who also didn't see anything to make the arrest then top if off by asking keim to take a breathalyzer that wouldn't be admissible in court, meaning an invalid un calibrated test that would prove what ever the cop wanted it to prove. what valid breathalyzer is not admissible in court? you tried to call keim and card fans out. seems like the video, the truth, just called you out. ok I had my turn. your turn to rant

People can really see the body cam camera and determine if he did or did not almost hit a curb or was driving erratically. You're liars or you are trying to be internet experts here. Cops are trained in the subtle art of this. You're not.
the officer mistakenly believed Steve "claimed" to be the head of security. Honest mistake he corrected. The bigger question is WHY did steve mention that? Because he wanted to bring in the fact "we're all friends here".
Keim didnt take the breathalyzer because he knew he was over the limit.
I will be right in the end. His blood work will indicate he was way over the limit.

Its been over a week since the DUI incident. Why haven't the BAC results been released? If he was over the limit wouldn't the cops be parading the number already?

I started this thread. Please move it to Cardinals history, or whatever. I’m done with it. It’s going to work itself out.. I hope!

Maybe he had a pizza and beer blowout with the boys to celebrate.

You think they would have done that for any of us? No. My gut tells me either that Cardinals security tells the boys to always deny if they're dumb enough to not call an Uber and get pulled over (not likely) or that his attorney is his previous DUI told him to never submit (more likely). Or I guess he could have just thought about it in the moment, but I can't see someone to dial up an Uber suddenly being smart / savvy enough to suddenly and strategically deny a blow test.

If it was me getting pulled over and I knew I couldn’t pass a breathalyzer I’d refuse. But if I thought it was close I’d take the test. If I blew an .09 or something like that I’d ask the cop to stop bye a jack in the box on the way to the station.. you never know the cop might. Say something like I’m diabetic and I need to eat something I’m getting dizzy. Eat something and let the metabolism do it’s thing. Anything higher than a .09 I would try to remember the phone number to somebody that might have bail money. :-)

Cops are also notorious liars just to get a conviction. They also have a quota to fill on tickets. I should know. I have one very good friend who is a county sheriff. I also have another ex hunting buddy who was a state bull. They gave me a lot of tips on how to handle cops. Best one is, when your asked a question either take the 5th or ask the question right back. Example. Have you been drinking tonight ? Does it look like I've been drinking ? Also always ask for your attorney to be present during any questioning. Just give your name and address. That's all you basically have to give them. Anything else they will some how turn it against you. That's not from me but both of my law inforcement friends.

That comes across as being a little defiant or combative. I use the same manners as if I was talking to my parents and keep my hands on the steering wheel until instructed otherwise.

I’d agree with this. Be courteous but also realize that you don’t have to give any information beyond biographical data. Name, address, insurance, registration and so on. Anything beyond that and you can invoke the 5th which most people mistakenly believe gives you the right to remain silent but in fact means you have the right to not incriminate yourself. Never should answer the infamous “do you know why I pulled you over” or “tell me what happened here” without counsel present.

Now that more facts, not biased articles, has come out I'm Undecided. And will stay in this position until Official word is released from the Cardinal and NFL Orgs that will deal with this sad situation.
It is a mess.
