I don't know about your DUI laws in Arizona. but up here in Washington you get nailed for a .7 now . You take 2 swigs of caugh medicine your legally over the limit and can get a DUI.
Some of you guys and gals sound like you 10 or 12 years old, and never made a mistake in your life. Would you feel the same way if it was Larry or Rosen who just got busted ? I doubt it. There are a lot worse offenses out there than a DUI.
Fine him and suspend him and let him know if it happens again he is fired. But not on the 1st offense. Grow up people. Ive never heard someone be so pro-DUI You say "just" a DUI, but DUIs kill more people than all school shootings combined. In Keims case, he wasnt plastered, but never say "so and so just got a DUI" like its no biggie.

I'm not pro DUI, but I realize there are a lot worse things out there than getting a DUI. Then you don't know all facts behind his DUI. How much did he blow. How long was it between his last drink and the time he got behind the wheel. Plus this was the first time he got busted. We also don't know if this was the first time he ever did anything like this.
Most people that get a DUI their company never knows about it, and if they do they don't take any action. Even professional drivers usually go back to work for their old company. Unlesss of course they were involved in some form of accident. They leave it up to the courts to settle it. And if they do take action it's usually in the form of getting that person help if needed.
All this is simply because he is a know person, and it make the headlines in Arizona. If he were a construction worker, office worker, factory worker, or some other blue color worker none of us would really know or care, but he is a celebrity of sorts. Why does that make a difference.
Fine him and suspend him for the first offense. See if he needs help with a drinking problem if he has one. Don't fire him for one slip up. Once again I ask. Would you let Larry or Rosen go over this if it was their 1st time. I think not.

Your knowledge of what happens to a CDL holder if they get a DUI is out of date. .04 if driving a commercial truck, normal level for driving your regular vehicle off hours. It is most likely a suspension of your CDL for 6 months to a year. If you get your CDL back, the insurance that covers you by your company skyrockets. As for SK. I doubt he'll resign. If he gets fired, I wouldn't be upset. If he doesn't get fired, Michael Floyd should get to kick him in the nuts as part of his punishment.

Which excuse sounds better .." I had 4 beers with pizza" or " I drank some kombucha tea" LOL..... It is good to give other drink options other than beer. Everyone assumes he was drinking beer. He's a fat cat NFL GM. I hope he'd be sipping some fine whiskey. Probably won't be anything for a while now though... smh, facepalm, what a dummy

Well seeing as I retired 6 years ago I sure it's out of date. And when I started driving there was no such thing as a DUI or a DWI. It was just plain drunk driving.

It also was stated that he lied about his employment saying he worked for security and not the GM. LOL. I don't know what is worse the beers or lying about the employment. *Note: Not laughing about the DUI as that is no laughing matter just laughing at the stories being told.

It’s time for something to happen. Cards should have booted him, they have had a pretty good idea of what the truth really was/is and probably knew within 4 hours after his release.. it’s time. Feels like he is dragging the clubs reputation through the mud.. he is going to At least be moving offices..

I reserve the right to change my vote after the BAC is known but right now, I feel he should be an example and take a leave of absence for at least 30 days. He needs to be proactive and set a good example for his wrongfulness.
This just doesn’t look good when your owner is a former Assistant US Attorney and the chairman of the committee that oversees player personal conduct. Something tells me that they are going to come down hard on Steve.

He should absolutely resign, why should he drag the Cardinals name through the mud. He should do what is best for the franchise. He can be brought back at a later date if wanted. But there is no good reason to have his legal issues reflect upon the club. He can consult or whatever, but he shouldn’t occupy the office of g.m

99% of people hear about this and just roll their eyes and think, “what an idiot”, and then move on with their lives and forget all about it, there’s no public outrage. At the end of the day nobody really cares enough to even consider it dragging the club through the mud. It’ll be forgotten about by the time the Cards bye week comes along
