Its a tough one. Some people on here think it depends on his BAC while others don't. For those who don't think it matters, do you think a score of 0.03 should be punished equal to .217? I don't. He should still be punished though. If Keim was forced to watch the Cardinals cut down the roster from 90 to 53 and negotiate DJ's contract without him, I think that would be a sufficient suspension. What I think will happen is MB or the NFL will give Keim an indefinite suspension pending a hearing since he's such a high level exec.

OMG ! You think he killed someone. Or beat the snot out of his wife or something. The man just got a DUI. Punishment. Sure. But not fired.

well the 1st person cut should run to mb and ask for a job being the gm's personal driver to avoid a repeat. mb will probably give them a job.

I voted no but would change my vote if there is a history as a repeat offende that we don’t know about, or if the facts that eventually come out are serious enough. There is an article on PFT this morning that gives some history on fines and suspensions the NFL or teams have punished other similar crimes with. They range from 6 games and a half million for a Jim Irsay level issue to nothing at all. But for higher management guys, first time, low blood alcohol (which I’m assuming until more comes out) typical punishment seems to be around $100k and 30 days suspended, though even during suspension a GM can function in much of his job.
Stolen from the PFT comment section...If you can’t do the time, don’t do the Keim!

How long before the team pulls the GM's video, "Flight Plan - Ready for Takeoff"? Hypocrisy reeks.

If SK was seriously impaired ala Micheal Floyd level impaired, the Chandler Police dept. would not have released him within hours as the article says SK was. And I voted No.

I vote no. BUT: void his recent contract upgrade/renewal and review him at the end of the original contract period.
AND/OR reduce him in rank - which is to say back to scouting as head scout or whatever. Let him work his way back up, or resign.
IMO, Mike B has been more than fair with his staff and players, perhaps too much so - and it is time to be strict for good reason.

Yes, resign or get fired. If he ends up surviving, no more Tuesday morning radio show where he talks about accountability. Zero credibility.

He should absolutely resign, why should he drag the Cardinals name through the mud. He should do what is best for the franchise. He can be brought back at a later date if wanted. But there is no good reason to have his legal issues reflect upon the club. He can consult or whatever, but he shouldn’t occupy the office of g.m.

This fire Keim stuff, resign his position stuff is understandable but I don't think it should happen. It would be very bad. He just needs to get back on his horse and right the ship. He still is a good GM but has to get through this and move on, in the right direction.

I don't know about your DUI laws in Arizona. but up here in Washington you get nailed for a .7 now . You take 2 swigs of caugh medicine your legally over the limit and can get a DUI.
Some of you guys and gals sound like you 10 or 12 years old, and never made a mistake in your life. Would you feel the same way if it was Larry or Rosen who just got busted ? I doubt it. There are a lot worse offenses out there than a DUI.
Fine him and suspend him and let him know if it happens again he is fired. But not on the 1st offense. Grow up people.

I didn’t say I thought MB should fire SK. My thoughts are that SK should resign, he must put the Arizona Cardinals first in this situation. It is his responsibility to resign. It’s the only responsible choice he can make. If MB decides not to accept his resignation, then that’s fine with me. But he needs to think about the team first. Whether MB accepts the resignation, is another story completely. Personally, I’d accept it.
