So, he should resign and never work again? If you feel he could/would be hired elsewhere, why let him go? Job performance is the key to employment-IMO.

If he hurt someone while driving of course, If not, he was lucky and should be fined and serve a suspension and having a second chance like anyone else. It's a misdemeanor unless the alcohol level reaches a certain level then he could be charged with a felony and an extreme DUI.If it is an extreme DUI it is one of the least serious felonies unless it is the result of personal injury. Pretty obvious how I voted.

I actually think he has done a tremendous job! And I’d hate to lose him to another team. But i believe he has no choice, he must offer his resignation. It’s just the right thing to do. At least he should ask to step down, if not step aside or step away he can’t remain the g.m. of the Cardinals. It’s almost like a recusal situation. It’s a strange deal for sure. That’s the point. IMHO

I don't know about your DUI laws in Arizona. but up here in Washington you get nailed for a .7 now . You take 2 swigs of caugh medicine your legally over the limit and can get a DUI. You mean .07.... and in AZ it's .08. It definitely takes more than that to get a DUI but not a lot. It takes 2 alcoholic drinks in your system to get to.08 and that's for an average size person.... Keim isn't close to that. You burn 1 drink off an hour. I'm not saying he had to drink much cause you don't but maybe he had like 4-5 drinks within a couple hours and thought he was good to drive Or maybe he had 12 shots and thought he was invincible...

What I meant was....You take 2 swigs of caugh syrup and you'll blow a .7 . Doesn't mean your drunk. Just your over the limit.

Some of you guys and gals sound like you 10 or 12 years old, and never made a mistake in your life. Would you feel the same way if it was Larry or Rosen who just got busted ? I doubt it. There are a lot worse offenses out there than a DUI.
Fine him and suspend him and let him know if it happens again he is fired. But not on the 1st offense. Grow up people. I hope that you aren’t misunderstanding my previous post. I didn’t say I thought MB should fire SK. My thoughts are that SK should resign, he must put the Arizona Cardinals first in this situation. It is his responsibility to resign. It’s the only responsible choice he can make. If MB decides not to accept his resignation, then that’s fine with me. But he needs to think about the team first. Whether MB accepts the resignation, is another story completely. Personally, I’d accept it. IMO you're making the case to fire him stronger. Yes, the DUI laws have in fact become ridiculous with "slightest impairment" type nonsense (off topic my Libertarian self predicted this when MADD started going mad years ago, tyrants are never satisfied). But that makes the case for caution even more important. Get out the phone, dial up that Uber and get your obese self home, Steve-O. Cops were announcing all over the place they were going to be out and about looking for prey. As for the what if argument, that's a non-starter and has nothing do with it. The point is that Keim is going to be part of the team that dishes out the justice when players go sideways, so if he's got one standard for him and one for everyone else that's a problem. He went full retard, period. Never go full retard.

Unless you drive for a living, nobody is getting fired for a DUI, why should it be any different for a general manager of an NFL team? That makes absolutely no sense, he should be punished more than other people because he has an awesome job? That’s

Bingo we have a winner. And you don't usually get fired for a DUI even if your a professional driver. At least not on the 1st offense. What you do is loose your license for 6 months. I know I drove semi's for almost 30 years. Now if you get a DUI while driving a big rig and on duty chances are very good you'll get canned.

I voted no, but if he did resign I wouldn't be that worried. Terry McDonough is the heir apparent for the GM job (I assume unless they plan to hire someone externally) and I believe would do at least as good a job as SK has if not better.

You got to be kidding me. He should have never put himself in this predicament. I voted no he shouldn't resign but this doesn't mean there should be some serious consequences short of firing/resigning.

This whole thing is sad to me. I was always on the fence when it comes to SK. After this draft, I kind of jumped off to the positive side....now this....
Whatever the circumstances turn out be....slightly drunk, or really drunk. Maybe it was a one time screwup, who knows. One thing for sure, its going to be really hard.....don't do what I do, do as I say....not a good position for a GM to be in. To be honest, I don't know if he can recover from this.
I didn't vote either way. I just don't have enough information.
