The police report does not help. I withdrew my initial “not resign”. I had given benefit of the doubt that it was a first time offense, it wasn’t. DUI 22 yrs ago. He’s been through this once. Benefit of doubt it was a 4th of July party checkpoint. It was not, it was an officer noticing his driving, and it was on the evening of July 3rd drinking, arrested after midnight of the 4th. Benefit of doubt it was a low BAC...don’t know yet but report makes it sound he was impaired. Benefit of doubt he was honest as he did inform the Cardinals rapidly. However, he lied to the officer about employment as a security officer with the Cardinals and tried to use that and the name of a Chandler cop (who Keim apparently didn’t know had been killed) to get on the officer’s good side.

All logical points. I will stick with demotion and forfeiture of the new contract as best options, but it sure is getting difficult to maintain that position.
(demotion meaning someone else takes over the GM position permanently) I bet SK is doing a lot of squirming since the arrest... and consulting with legal beagles. And I would also bet that he has heard and is hearing a lot from his wife too. (chuckle) That is a gift that keeps on giving . . . with good reason. Five kids??
Anyone know when Mike is due back in town?

was sk taken to jail and held overnight? I know in Missouri if you fail a breathalizer or field sobriety test you are held overnight in a cell.

So basically he was released after they thought he had sobered up enough to drive. Look it's going to cost him somewhere between 8 and 12 grand. I know for him that walking around money. It's still a chunk of changer out of his wallet. and he was busted 22 years ago for the same offense. That would put him in his early to mid 20's. Most guys in their early to mid 20's do stuff. With it being 22 years later, I don't think that means he has a drinking problem. Sounds like he just did something .

But that doesn’t mean they thought he had sobered up enough to drive. His truck had been towed. He was sober enough to release to go home, via Uber or taxi or someone picking him up.

We are waiting for the BAC report to be released. I don’t want SK to leave the team. He is a very valuable asset. I just don’t think it’s in the best interest of the team that he remains the GM. Hopefully he will be able to regain the respect he earned over the last 15-20 years. I’m somewhat surprised he hasn’t stepped down already. It’s a public relations thing. His arrest happened on his own time, during his vacation, early in the morning on July 4th. I don’t think it was a decision he made to drink and drive. It just happened. But he should have called a cab. I bet he has security, he could have contacted someone. SK made a bad decision. The other questions that haven’t been asked or answered in the press are also important. And really aren’t any of the public’s business. Where was he prior to the arrest. Was he on some type of pain meds due to his knee injury. ( per police report ) lots of unanswered questions. And I don’t think it’s any of the public’s business. It is however part of the investigation. Personally, I just want the situation to be over regarding SK and his relationship with the Cardinals. And just be about SK and the decisions he made when he got into the vehicle.

I rescind my No vote in light of having details revealed that were not provided earlier. Sad day for AZ Cardinals and fans. Time for Terry McDonough to become interim GM?

The measure you use to judge others will be used back on you. And the wall of judgement you keep building will come down on your very head.

Heres why: My "measure of judgement" is condemning those who gets DUIs. Hit women. Hurt animals. Get caught with unregistered guns. etc. etc. Why do you think those are things that happen to everybody? Watch out, it might happen to you mr. judgement!....No, it wont. Ever. Im condemning really bad stuff, not 10-over speeding tickets. The question should be why are you defending such egregious behavior?

Telling me to let up in any way is defending him. "Dont be judgmental. Leave him alone. Hey take it easy". No, bad people deserve to be judged and jailed. Its how we protect the good people from the bad people. And Judgement is not one of the 10 commandments nor sins. Its more like a preference, not a rule.

I saw the police video. I still think he should resign. From his current position. But I don’t think he should be fired. Depends on the bac. Still really sad

ok zaz what now? you gonna admit you were 100% wrong? time to change your vote or prove you are a homer for some other team as you put it. some of us wanted to wait until we knew more and now we know more, like the cop lied. do you see keim almost hit another car? nope. cop claims he did. did you see him "almost hit the curb". nope cop claims he did. do you see keim claim to be director of security? cop clams he did. then the cop called in someone else who also didn't see anything to make the arrest then top if off by asking keim to take a breathalyzer that wouldn't be admissible in court, meaning an invalid un calibrated test that would prove what ever the cop wanted it to prove. what valid breathalyzer is not admissible in court? you tried to call keim and card fans out. seems like the video, the truth, just called you out.
ok I had my turn. your turn to rant
