Im more concerned about everyone elses wives and kids with this boozebag on the roads You got 1 thing right: He got a DUI 22 years ago. And apparently didnt learn a damn thing. He used his freebie. That whole christian forgiveness thing. Yeah, he already spent that coupon. Hes now a grown adult man and he went and got an extreme DUI. Id bury him under the prison. Ive no empathy for him. Hes dangerous and the world is safer without him. I'm for forgiveness for a guy who has paid the price and seems very contrite. He hasnt. A fine and vacation are not a price. And he's sorry, great. But heres the bottom line: This is the 2nd time. For everyone saying "he made a mistake, let him grow and learn". He had his opportunity to grow and learn. Instead got a 2nd DUI. The 1st DUI is the time for forgiveness. The 2nd DUI is time for punishment. DUI endangers lives.

This whole thing is sad. I do not hate Keim, but this was not a mistake. He has probably known for a long time that he often drives while over the limit. He justified it because he is an experienced drinker and felt like he could handle it.
Lets face it, I or most here would be all but passed out with the amount of alcohol he drank that night. The fact that he could function at all proves he is a hardcore drinker.
I will give SK full credit for not fighting it, and I think he realizes just how big he screwed up. I don't know if he should be fired, but how will he ever have any credibility when dealing with others on the team that may have drinking problems or really anything that takes a little self discipline.
What maybe gripes me the most is for someone that drinks that much, surely someone in the organization must have known.

Maybe he can invoke a little Jonas Nightengale and spin it as "who's better to talk to you about the evils of sin if not a sinner?"

Females cannot tolerate alcohol like males and the lighter you are the same. The fact that he probably ate multiple pizza's help too. Food helps absorb it from the gut. I"m sure SK enjoys the cool one from time to time (joke). But please people lets not pretend to be experts on alcoholism You embarrassed yourselves enough being experts on determining whether someone was impaired or not.
