That is an interesting thought D.H.
I just watched one of his highlight films...he is a big WR. Mostly uses his hands to catch the ball. I wonder how fast he is, because he looks pretty fast in the highlights. On one play, Caleb is running around behind the LOS... and they show Rice scrambling in the end zone trying to give Williams a target...which ends up in a TD. Rice did not give up on the play...I really liked that....
I would be all for taking Rice to replace Rondale Moore...that would give us Marvin, Rice, Wilson, McBride and Dortch as our WR Corp. I am thinking if Hollywood leaves, that would be a great option. If Hollywood stays, I do not see us drafting a second WR. But we never know...would be very interesting to see Hollywood mixed in that WR Corp...we would have excellent depth at WR...

I know this was just a highlight reel but rice was wide open a lot. Were the defensive bikes that bad or is he that good. On the one highlight where he drove across the pylon for a touchdown he looked just like larry. There I said it. I still want this guy with one of our third round picks. If Jay Ross's kid can't play wide receiver then nobody can and you can't argue the fact that it would be great for the team to have Jerry Rice hanging around some. Plus it kind of a dig at the 49ers whom we all despise

Plus it kind of a dig at the 49ers whom we all despise B. Rice scooted down the 40yd dash pathway in 4.5 time at the 2024 Combine. He's got decent speed to go with that 6'3" and 210lb body. The pros are not hot on B Rice but I'd give the kid a shot with a 3rd day pick. Big WRs with good hands are always wanted.

I am not one to answer that question. Probably someone on here that knows college ball would be able to tell us if all the teams he played against are any good or not in general.
Also, if we picked Marvin and Rice, we might have Marvin SR. and Jerry Rice hangin around...that would be pretty cool.

My guess around pick number 80 and I don't know who picks in that spot so that particular team might not have a need for wide receiver but somewhere in that area..

I've been thinking. As much as I prefer Nix, if he and McArthy go in the first round, maybe Rattler should be our target since we can get him in the 3rd or 4th. Rattler impressed at the Shrine game PLUS the combine. He needs to sit a year, but that's not a problem here. And he gives us cheap depth with upside potential, without us having to sacrifice any top support for Kyler. And as much as I don't think Kyler is the answer, I also want to eliminate all excuses and give him as much support as possible so if he fails here, no one can claim he was robbed of support.

Again ?
"It seems to me I've heard that song before it's from an old familiar score..." (1942 song)
We must be the runt of the NFL litter because there are never any scraps left after the big dogs feast.

Didn't we get Jaylen Thompson with a Comp Pick? At least we got one excellent player from previous Comp picks we have had. Not sure how many Comp picks for other teams have panned out, but we did well with Jaylen...we have plenty of picks in the draft...so that makes up for not getting Comp picks....

Not a comp pick, we got Jalen through the supplemental draft. That was a good move. He was the only pick in the supplemental draft, and we gave up the next year’s 5th rounder to do it.
