It dosen't matter Glassford won't last and Rosen will be our starting QB when it's all said and done. Another dumbass, uneducated comment I see.
Open mouth, insert foot...
BOULDER, Colo. -- UCLA sophomore quarterback Josh Rosen will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, a school spokesman confirmed Thursday.
Rosen was injured in UCLA's 23-20 loss to Arizona State on Oct. 8 and has missed the team's past three games. He did not travel with the team to Colorado for Thursday's game, a 20-10 victory for the 15th-ranked Buffaloes.
Josh Rosen injured in what may have been his final college game Posted by Michael David Smith on November 25, 2017, 9:49 AM EDT Getty Images
UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, viewed as a potential first overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft, ended what may have been his final college game on the sideline last night.
Rosen took a hard hit at the end of the first half of UCLA’s win over Cal and did not play in the second half, instead standing on the sideline in street clothes.
During his sophomore season, Rosen was injured in early October in a game against Arizona State. Rosen injured his throwing (right) shoulder late in the game during a sack near the sideline. After attempting to return a few weeks in a row, further imaging showed structural damage, which required surgery. The exact details of Rosen’s surgery and injury couldn’t be tracked down with 100% confidence, but one resource below (turnonthejets.com) describes a debridement surgery in addition to a small tear in one of the rotator cuff muscles.
Rosen may have entered 2017 healthy, but he certainly didn’t finish it that way. During his junior year in 2017, Rosen suffered two concussions in less than a month. As we’ve seen with many other players, subsequent concussions in a short time period raise a major concern about a player’s long-term health. Research suggests that players who experience more than one concussion throughout their career are more likely to experience an additional concussion at a later date. This effect increases as a player suffers more concussions. In other words, a player with five concussions is much more likely to get another concussion compared a player who’s only had two. Concussions are very hard to predict, but we do know that Rosen is at a slightly increased risk for missing time due to a concussion. If he lands behind a poor offensive line early in his career, and he takes more hits than other QBs, his career length could be shortened if he experiences a concussion early on in his career.
Dumbass? Well ok then if you say so. Nothing you said shows Glassford will last the season. All you can say from all of that is we might need a third QB it looks like we might have two made out of glass. I don't care witch one wins a super bowl for us but they didn't make a move to pick Rosen because they thought Glassford was the long term answer. Take your rage out on the front office I picked Glassford to start the year.

I think Bradford might light it up to the point of making us even more nervous wondering when it will come to a sudden end from injury. The guys a good QB who can play. he just needs to be able to keep doing it.

When healthy the guy is very good. He just doesn't stay healthy. It looks like Rosen has had the same problem. Time will tell it's a win, win for us. If he plays out the season I bet we have a good one. If not we get a look at the what we should all hope is a long term franchise QB. Maybe Bradford will light it up and give us 4 or 5 Warner type good years. Who cares as long as we have a winner in town.

I think Rosen wins the job anyways even if Bradford is healthy. Rosen is in the pros now with better personnel, better condition/strength programs, better coaches. A good running game will be why he'll last. David Johnson will get his deal and they'll play together for years.

As a 4th place team, its good to see them aspiring to be #2 i don`t know that we are 4th..its a toss up between us and seattle.....but we gonna be somebody the day the oline comes marching in 4th is between us and SF, not Seattle. So long as Seattle has Russ, they will never be 4th. Bad OL and all. Russ is truly one of the elite QB's in the NFL, so he will never be in the cellar ever. I view Jimmy G and Rosen to be equally unproven.

Seattle is now allowing a lot of points and got knocked out of the playoffs last season by the Cards. They lost a few more defensive guys. Maybe the Cards are actually better than Seattle. You're tossing Russell's salad a little too much.

I agree with RW in the mix it makes it seem like they have an edge over us,,,,but since Sherman exited.......i no longer believe it gives them that edge...nope Wilson can`t save them from the #4 spot this year...it`s Rams 9`rs/us........and Seattle at the very bottom......even with RW(they really are gonna suck this year....so are we,but in a growing kinda way Seattle in a Crashing kinda way)

The Cards could be #2 in the NFC west in 2018.

The Rams have poured everything into 2018 but that roster is not built for the long term. What is important for us is being top in the NFC West in 2019 and beyond. 2018 I’d for installing a new offense, defense, team character, evaluation, re-evaluation, and getting Rosen ready for a long and successful future as a Cardinal. Then off-season is to use immense cap equity on addressing chinks in the armor known now or discovered over the season, as well a a draft for the long term. I’m personally going to enjoy this season through that lens...any success beyond that would just be icing on the cake.

Just can not see why Media and many of our posters keep anointing Jimmy G as the next "savior" of the 9'ers. Can Jimmy G carry the 9'ers on his shoulders like RW has done for Seattle? Can RW keep being the #1 offensive weapon in rushing and of course passing for the Hawks? Can Carrol and staff finally get RW an o-line? Can Petey resurrect his D?
Can the Rams keep the momentum of last year going this year even with all the new faces? What happens if Gurley gets hurt early like David did for us last year? Take away the run game from Goff and lets see if he can shoulder the extra burden.
New year, new teams, new sets of circumstances, right now everybody's "future" looks bright. Even our own Cards. But to claim we are bottom dwellers because of QB envy? That's ridiculous.

just read this board, people have anointed Rosen ABOVE "savior" status. It's what fans do. At least Jimmy G has played in the NFL. Rosen?

We even have Ram fans on this board banging a drum for a QB that was booted from their team. Hasn't EVER WON anything. Hasn't played two full season in a row, and to boot has been paid 134 million for NOTHING. You're right some fans are just nuts.
I will trade you Bradford for Goff?

I don't see it all fitting this year but I'm in the camp we are in a great spot going forward and see the NFC West being one hell of a hard division for a long time. As to the Media they would love nothing more then to see a good 9ers team. They will beat that drum until proven other wise. I'm with you on Seattle in some way. I don't see them as what they were but I still see them as a tough team.

The Cardinals will be a very heavy run team this year. Our passing game will be dink and dunk, screens and quick outs to tight ends and running backs. If we can avoid turnovers, we will be very tough. I see us 2nd in the west.
