Should be a healthy competition! bleacherreport.com/articles/2776162-are-we-overlooking-this-years-nfl-bridge-quarterbacksBradford is a proven commodity, and his 2016 performance indicates a top-shelf starter, as Pro Football Focus noted: As well as Bradford performed during stretches, his injury history will be a deciding favor regarding playing time. Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer described his former quarterback's knee problems as "degenerative," and he missed 14 games last season. "Because of the way the Cardinals are managing Sam Bradford's health—those achy knees—it'll open the door for Josh Rosen to get opportunities with the ones [first team]," NFL Network's Steve Wyche reported. "Wilks said the plan today is for Bradford to start, get a lot of working during seven-on-seven and individual drills with the first-team offense. When they get to team drills, they're really going to manage his time, and that's where Josh Rosen, who is the established No. 2 quarterback already, will be working with the first-team offense." A healthy Bradford is a superior player to Rosen. The only thing that should keep the nine-year veteran off the field is injury maintenance.

I say it's Bradford all the way in 2018. If Wilks has the luxury of a big lead in the game and the 4th quarter, only then bring in Rosen to finish.
Wilks has to manage Rosen's career for the long-term. Bradford is like a used car with some hard miles.

We have posters that say SB can't throw deep. Yet in 2016 his deep throws gave him a QB rating of 121.5. #1 deep passer rating in 2016.
Passer rating under pressure 87.7 #2 that year. Redzone throws 110.5 #8.
If Sam can give us even close to those numbers for this season the Cards will Not be the NFCW bottom dwellers as so many pundits and posters have predicted. Rosen will get more time to hone and refine his game for when he does start (2019 we all hope).

Bradford is no slouch when it comes to playing QB. The think with Bradford is he is more of a west coast type QB. I doubt if he would have had success in BA's offense scheme. You can win with Bradford. It's a perfect place for Rosen to be right now. He can sit and learn the pro game, and what a pro defense is trying to do. It wouldn't bother me at all if Bradford started the whole year. Especially if the Cards are winning. Every rookie QB takes time to figure out the pro game, and have things slow down for them. I also thin at some point Rosen will get his shot this year. Whether it's Bradford getting injured or our record sucks and they start Rosen's and get a jump on nest year. I'm still not sold this is a play off caliber team. So if your out of it after v10 games or so might as well start the Rookie and let him get some experience going into next year.
I think the Cards got very lucky having Rosen fall to them. Even though they still had to trade up to get him I think of all the QB's the Cards had a shot at the last 3 years Rosen and Mayfield were their best hopes for a QBOF. Still not sold on Darnold or Jackson. Other than Mayfield, Rosen is the only other QB I wanted for the Cards in the 1st round.

Bradford's great when healthy. You don't command the type of respect and contracts given unless this were a fact. If McCoy can figure out a way to keep his uni clean we will be fine and Rosen will get a golden opportunity to learn about the speed of the NFL from one of the better passers in the league.
Bradford starts and continues to start unless he gets hurt. I don't foresee him playing so poorly that he gets benched during the season, it's a more likely scenario his knees fail him before his head and arm does.

Bradford is a losing QB who has nervous feet and has made way to much money with way almost no clutch performances. Rosen is the present and future. You didn't draft the most ready to play QB to sit him to learn behind a guy who is nervous in big spots. We are installing a new O and Bradford is being managed like he has played with his teammates and system for 10 years. We got our QB of the future and a solid backup. If a QB goes down and Bradford can actually pass another teams physical trade him for a 4 or 5 and move on.

His most recent sample with a quality coach was 2016 and he was fantastic. To look at this body of work while working with Jeff Fisher and the Rams is laughable.

With fans like that who needs opponents ? Heard the same about Warner and Palmer! I like Sam Bradford as person and as a player - not like he chose to get hurt - he was drafted to the worse team in the nfl and got ran over by cardinals! He is a great QB and had another year of rest without more repairs on the knees - I’ll take him and fan for him - not against him. I hope he completes every pass and breaks his own percentage record.

Warner went to two SB and Palmer had a very good NFL career and actually won games before he came here. I think you should buy a Sam Bradford Jersey. I root for the Cardinals and I want our rookie QB and rookie HC to get up to speed as fast as possible so we can move forward with a SB competitive team as fast as possible. Philadelphia and LA went to the playoffs and Philadelphia won a SB in year 2 of their Drafted QB's because they played in year 1.
