Bradford's career was "resurrected" the minute he got free from the Rams & Jeff Fisher. His last 7 games in Philly were brilliant, as was his first year in Minnesota playing behind as bad an OL as ever constructed. Last year would have been a 15-1, 16-0 season in Minny if not for a heart breaking injury after as dominant week 1 as a QB could have had.
IF the team is good around Sam then the sky is the limit for the 2018 Cards...PERIOD.
It is going to be comical watching all the folks eat their words...
Let me get this straight. His last 7 games with Philadelphia was brilliant. His 3 and 4 record was brilliant. It was so brilliant the HC was fired Philadelphia moved up to two and drafted Wentz. Bradford proceeds to demand a trade or hold out when it was clear he was projected as the starter in 2016. Philadelphia takes a long look at Wentz and unloads Bradford 8 days before the season starts to go with a rookie. They proceed to win the SB the next year. Bradford plays 15 games for the Vikings. Sandwiched between Bridewater and Keenum, he didn't take them to the playoffs. They didn't use him when he was healthy in 2016 and they immediately went hard after Cousins when the season ended. Maybe, the Eagles and Vikings know something. They happen to have pretty good management. FYI Mark Sanchez had a pretty good year playing in Philadelphia compared to his career numbers and so did Keenum playing for Shumar. If Sam takes us to the promised land I would be thrilled. Seattle started a rookie and went to the SB twice. Philadelphia went with the rookie and went to the SB the next year. There is no putting off the future in the NFL any longer. The rookie contract coupled with the CBA has radically changed. The team is set up to be very good next year. Bradford won't be here next year. Rosen needs to get in the deep end now. I seriously was going to respond to your garbled mess but there is literally so much inaccurate information here I see you are clueless about wit you speak. There is honestly football ignorance in just about every sentence you wrote. I would be embarrassed to have authored your take, unless of course you were drunk when you typed it...

Well, if we can (using your less than nuanced term) "unload" SAM for a first and a fourth-round pick at some point, that would be great. As to when Rosen starts, I'm sure coach Wilks will take you heartfelt feelings into consideration before starting SAM come September.

If coach Wilkes takes anything anyone says on this board as a reason to play anyone, it's time to replace him. If any team losses their starter and wants to give up a 1 and 4 for Sam I suspect Wilkes wouldn't have a choice in the matter. SK would make the deal in a heartbeat.

no trade clause. neither wilks or sk has a say in the matter. sam can be played and paid, sat and paid, or cut and paid. trading is not an option wilks or sk have. that would be sams choice alone. and why would sam not want to get paid by the cards AND his new team rather than getting paid by just one team?

Rosen will start this season from the beginning and will keep starting period. You don't trade up to 10 to ride the pine and Rosen dots his I's and crosses his T's. He questions the questions. That's the guy you want.

That's the guy you want. I don't see Rosen starting the season if Bradford is healthy. We're paying Sam very well and I don't think it will hurt Rosen to sit until his time comes(probably due to injury or next season). We want our QBotF to have a decent line and that's yet to be proven.

That's how the teams that come in 2nd place think.

That's how the teams that come in 2nd place think. As a 4th place team, its good to see them aspiring to be #2

Oh, you honestly think that, LOL! That just reinforces a losing culture. I'm glad the team doesn't believe you.

It dosen't matter Glassford won't last and Rosen will be our starting QB when it's all said and done. Another dumbass, uneducated comment I see.
Open mouth, insert foot...
BOULDER, Colo. -- UCLA sophomore quarterback Josh Rosen will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, a school spokesman confirmed Thursday.
Rosen was injured in UCLA's 23-20 loss to Arizona State on Oct. 8 and has missed the team's past three games. He did not travel with the team to Colorado for Thursday's game, a 20-10 victory for the 15th-ranked Buffaloes.

UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, viewed as a potential first overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft, ended what may have been his final college game on the sideline last night.
Rosen took a hard hit at the end of the first half of UCLA’s win over Cal and did not play in the second half, instead standing on the sideline in street clothes.
During his sophomore season, Rosen was injured in early October in a game against Arizona State. Rosen injured his throwing (right) shoulder late in the game during a sack near the sideline. After attempting to return a few weeks in a row, further imaging showed structural damage, which required surgery. The exact details of Rosen’s surgery and injury couldn’t be tracked down with 100% confidence, but one resource below (turnonthejets.com) describes a debridement surgery in addition to a small tear in one of the rotator cuff muscles.
Rosen may have entered 2017 healthy, but he certainly didn’t finish it that way. During his junior year in 2017, Rosen suffered two concussions in less than a month. As we’ve seen with many other players, subsequent concussions in a short time period raise a major concern about a player’s long-term health. Research suggests that players who experience more than one concussion throughout their career are more likely to experience an additional concussion at a later date. This effect increases as a player suffers more concussions. In other words, a player with five concussions is much more likely to get another concussion compared a player who’s only had two. Concussions are very hard to predict, but we do know that Rosen is at a slightly increased risk for missing time due to a concussion. If he lands behind a poor offensive line early in his career, and he takes more hits than other QBs, his career length could be shortened if he experiences a concussion early on in his career.
