Yeah, tell me a guy that parlayed a disappointing career with only being able to work about 1/2 the time into $140 mil is lacking in brains...sounds like a genius or one of the great scam artists of all time to me!

That’s why they created the rookie pay scale!

Ya know. If someone is going to be idiotic enough to pay me great sums of money knowing my injury history, I'm sure going to be smart enough to take it. Now the guy paying me that kind of money is the idiot for doing it in the first place. So just who is the smart one and who is the idiot ? Sure the guy has been over paid. It's not his fault that type of money was thrown at him.

This is the problem of preception vs reality. Bradford has a canon.
There was also a great video from a Vikings beat writer about 2-3 months ago being interviewed by a Cardinals writer where the Vikings writer was gushing endlessly about Sam's arm talent. he said; "when you are at field level and you watch this guy throw, just wait!! He's got a stronger arm than anybody in the NFL." He went on to say "lets be honest here, Sam is more talented than Cousins but the question is also about injury with Sam. If he stays healthy the Cards got themselves a very good QB..
The nonsense about Rosen "beating Sam out" is a joke. Oh we all know NO MATTER WHAT Rosen will be handed the job, that goes without saying, but trust me on no planet is Josh ROsen near the talent that Sam Bradford is.
Bradford doesn't win football games. Everyone who watches him loves his arm talent. He has had tons of money thrown at him because of his arm talent. He is amazingly rich because of his arm talent. He is a journeyman NFL QB because of his brain talent and inability to stay healthy. Wait are you saying he isn't a smart QB? Friend you are in the wrong end of this pool...

Okay, just viewed a Bradford/Ram highlight video, better arm then I remember viewing him play our Birds.
He looks decent with his legs working and buying time in the pocket. If he can win games til Rosen is ready, good for him.

Game day stats and health history can be looked at several ways. Bradford's career is all about being a smart athlete and taking advantage of willing GMs. I never saw anything in Bradford's past suggesting he is a scam artist, a loafer, or does not take the QB job seriously. He will do fine for Arizona on this short contract if the OL does its job too. I'm also not suggesting Bradford is a playoff savior--no way, nor the next Warner. The 2018 season will be entertaining.

Reserving the right to all judgment/predictions until I see some games in Pre-Season.

I’d prefer Bradford in the game. With our defense and Bradford starting, we have a chance to be competitive (9-10 wins) and possibly make the playoffs. Without him, Rosen would bring about 6-7 wins. The big question is whether or not we can get 14-16 games out of Bradford.

The throw at the 1:10 mark in this video was amazing on several levels. I recall Solomon Wilcotts doing the color tv on that game and he was amazed at that dime.
For my money this video is a better, more current indicator of his arm talent and power. Just look at the zip on all these "out's"

I noticed that he had a nice clean pocket to throw from. If we can do the same.....IF....we should be good.

The guy has made over a 140 million based on his arm talent. He is a journeyman NFL QB because he has one of the worst TD to pass attempts ratio's in football history.

Could it be that his TD ratio is so poor because he has played with elite RBs and his team would tend to run it in instead of pass when in the red zone? He had the likes of Stephen Jackson, Demarco Murray, Darren Sproles, and Adrian Peterson lining up behind him....
