Regardless of what really happened, I'm sure Goodell has his eyes on the situation and that is never a good thing Very homerish of you. More concerned about that punishment than the crime. Nice assumption here, can you lower your hypocrisy setting just a little please? The issue is King Roger's inconsistency in severity of suspensions that warrants concerns. If all this is legitimate and Kirk and his friend were throwing rocks at cars, I hope he does get suspended. He needs to be taught early in his career that his conduct comes with consequences. So if he is cleared of any wrongdoing do you concur there should be no consequences from the league or are you of the opinion he needs to be "taught a lesson anyway"?
These NFL idiots have been babied their entire lives. Why do you think they thought it was OK to throw rocks at cars? Because theyve never been disciplined a day in their lives. He wasn't an "NFL idiot" when this happened and saying that none of them have ever been disciplined a day in their lives is just a ridiculous statement. You have no clue how every NFL player was raised. Im a man who was raised correctly before Im a cardinals fan. Suspend this moron. Stand upon that soapbox and pound that pulpit! We all need to bow down to the terrible fury of our forum's beacon of moral and spiritual righteousness. It's diatribe like this that just sours the forum experience for me and no I won't leave because of you.

Consistency in suspension lengths dont bother me. 1 game or 4, doesnt matter. So long as the offender learns. We are all responsible for ourselves. Directly or indirectly. If you get in trouble, you probably helped it happen.
- dont date hood rats and you probably wont get falsely accused of DV (reuben foster/ Daryl Washington)
- dont drink. Become a teetotaler, I dont care. But if you dont drink, youll never get a DUI or in a fight at the bar.
- And dont get wasted at the WMO and kick rocks or pick up rocks or who-knows-what involving rocks. Are you a geologist? Then why do you have rock related legal problems?
- dont have friends. Even if you are "innocent" of the crime, youre guilty of having bad friends and thus deserve whatever you get.
This case will probably go nowhere but it doesnt mean I'll forget. Hopefully this is the early wake up call I talked about. This is life in the NFL, when you screw up its front page news, so dont screw up.

It must be a right of passage in the nfl for rookies to break their criminal cherry.

#AZCardinals WR Christian Kirk had his charges of disorderly conduct and property damage dismissed recently by the Scottsdale City Court, per court records. AZ stood up for Kirk following the draft, and those who know him said the charges after a golf tournament were baseless. Per Ian Rapoport.

Let's just hope this scared him into being that "ambassador of the team" his dad was telling the team on Cardinal Flight Plan. The last thing we need is another Michael Floyd situation.

profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/05/30/cardinals-christian-kirk-pays-restitution-gets-charges-dropped/Charges have been dropped after Kirk paid restitution. case close. Notable: He paid restitution. Innocent people dont need to pay for damages if they werent responsible for the damages. So yes, this story was true. Drunk kirk and his friends were throwing rocks and damaging cars at the WMO. I dont accept "being drunk" as being an excuse. Your drunk self reveals your character flaws. Im a happy drunk. Some are violent drunks. Kirk is a jerk drunk. Hopefully this was a wake up call.

"His friends and family say hes innocent...." well why didnt you say so? Scottsdale PD must be so embarrassed. ALWAYS check in with the accused's family and friends first. innocent people dont pay for damages they didnt commit

He was in a position to pay off the person who's car he damaged....after his "friends and family" said everything from "The charges were completely false", "Christian was beat up by the cops", and "The Cops were xenophobe". Kirk needs to shut up and play football. I have a bad feeling he is an entitled scottsdale punk, but lets hope he can keep it in check long enough to keep himself on the field.

innocent people pay all the time just to be done with it.
personnally, I don't care. IF he did it, it was and hopefully it scared him straight. If he didn't do it hopefully he still learns to not put himself in those situations.
move on. nobody wil care about that crap when he catches 80 passes for 900 yards or sth like that...

I will never put my fanship above my morals. I absolutely care. I say this crime is worthy of 1 concussion ( a small one). Just a bell ringer. I also reject conspiracy theories. The cops had it in for him man! Hes innocent! I would not ever, EVER admit to a crime "to make it go away". He paid the damages because he caused them. Yes he does have money now, you know what else he can afford? A good lawyer. If he were innocent, hed fight. But he hasnt. Hes guilty. No hes not innocent. At all. idiot threw rocks at cars. Stop defending that sort of behavior.

Paying restitution gets him off with authorities but will the @nfl levy any penalties?

I care because a drunk jerk was going around damaging peoples property...maybe thats no biggie to you. I guess Im just better. Paying for it admits guilt...meaning he could be on the NFLs radar. Declared innocent players are not penalized. So now down the road if he gets into more legal trouble, the league will see he already got into some mischief and now he no longer has the benefit of the doubt.

Just guessing, but I think the City decided that the evidence (or source) was so flimsy that any halfwit defender could easily poke holes it. The right thing to do was to dismiss the case. If Kirk was involved in damaging personal property, let's hope this event got his attention for the rest of his life. Doing dumb stuff is really expensive at the NFL level. Now, let's go play some football!
