I disagree about the WRs. On one particular 3rd down play, two WRs ran routes that curled out on the same side. One went 5 yards short of the first down and was blanketed by his man, the other (Chad Williams?) ran his route 5 yards past the 1st down marker and was open. Sam looked to his right with both targets clearly in his field of vision. He checked down and the ball was knocked away. Absolutely no way is that on the WRs for being open and Sam not getting them the ball. This mess lies firmly on either Sam or McCoy if he's allowing this gutless offense. (Dang, I'm missing the biscuit). Great QBs make WRs great. NEVER the other way around. You can bring in whoever you want at WR, it won't make a difference when your QB is playing as scared as Sam is right now. Our WR corps accounts for a low percentage of the offensive concerns. QB is #1 (60%). Play calling #2 (35%). WR issues can share the remaining 5% with our RT. Maybe PM or Brady would do great even with the WR group we have but it's Sam Bradford. combine Sam Bradford with our WR group and it's just bottom feed all the way around. I'm not high by any stretch on the play calling but this is an extremely limited offense and most of that falls on Steve Keim. Here's how I'd put it. Either the QB play is awful or the OC is awful. Or both. But how can we properly and fairly assess the WR corps given the circumstances. And it's not like we have scraps here. We have a still highly functional HoF in Fitz and a recent 2nd round pick in Kirk. That's not necessarily bottom feed. I mean, they could be that bad, but how can you tell under the circumstances. And as a big fan of Keim and Wilks, I'm certainly not going to defend them after what's going on this season. I'm utterly dumbfounded as to how undisciplined this team is and how awful they came out of the gates. Keim owns this. Wilks owns this. And to maintain some semblance of integrity I'm forced to admit that I was gung ho on the hire of Wilks. So now I've got egg all over my face and I'm completely embarrassed of my team. To the rest of the posters, this WR talk reminds me of the raging debates we had back in 2012 when we drafted Floyd. A healthy percentage of posters suggested that drafting Floyd was better than DeCastro because it would "open up the offense". It was preposterous at the time and was immediately proven false. It didn't open up the O one bit. The Oline sucked, our OC/HC was stubbordumb, he got our fragile QB killed, and Floyd was painfully average. Drafting a WR was beyond dumb when we had ZERO talent on the line and already had Fitz. Why is this same argument persisting? WRs are ALWAYS tertiary to QB and Oline. There is absolutely no example to suggest otherwise.

He definitely looks ready.... He's bored, just like all of us.

Sam Bradford IMO is not the problem here. IMO coaching is the problem. Steve Wilks does not appear to have any idea what needs to happen to correct the problems with the offense. What I see is a offensive line that is over compensating in their efforts to protect Bradford. Thereby not efficiently carrying out there blocking assignments during run and pass plays. Sam Bradford has to take the knocks just line any other Quarterback.
Our wide receiver corp is not running their routes properly. How many times have we seen the receiver come up a yard short on 3rd down! Mike McCoy's play calling is complete devoid of any imagination with the playbook. Where is J J Nelson, one of the fastest receivers we have? Get him involved in the game!
On defense J Taylor CB is getting toasted on nearly every play. He needs some help over there. Wilks' style of defense has so many holes. But the biggest problem is they are having to spend too much time on the field because of the lack of offense. By the mid point of the second quarter they are gasping and by the end of the third quarter the tank is dry.
I know we all want to see what we have in Rosen, but lets not throw him to the wolves just yet.
Sorry if this sounds like a rant

Way too many times.
Coaches should have overcome that before the second game, IMO.
