Sam Bradford is beyond horrible. His accuracy is pathetic even with his Captain Checkdown label in full effect. He continues to throw short on 3rd downs. He looks terrified to be out there. And he can't pick up a 1st down to save his life.
The Oline hasn't been bad giving up only 3 sacks in 2 games. They have a healthy RB corps and Fitz is one heck of a security blanket. We've actually had decent success running the ball (DJ is 21 for 85 yards) when we can actually run the ball. I see no reason to worry about our QBoF behind this line. Time to find out what he can do.
Time for Rosen

Why put Rosen on the McCoy dumpster fire? Sam is playing scared and playing like ****. We paid him, and this season isn't going anywhere. Why not keep him out there until he breaks a few bones?
I'd also rather throw Glennon in the lineup. At least give him one game to start before Rosen. The last thing I wanna do is shell-shock Rosen's development.

But we all know the GM goal is to build a good team for a long time, not blow the future on an ego trip. Rosen's debut will come when the team is ready and at the right time. I assumed Bradford will not be injured while Rosen ages.

I say start him after the bye. When Warner played for the Giants, they started Eli mid season. He lost every game but last one. With that he got valuable time before next season and eventually on his way to two SB wins.

not with this team. google tim rosenbaugh. rosen should not see the field this year, and judgeing by his yawn he is fine with that. he's smart enough he has already stopped caring this year.

Throw Glennon out there before Rosen. If Bradford wants to take the cash and call it a career, just come up limping next week. No one would question it, it provides the staff cover to make the move. A win-win. If we get to watch a QB fling the ball 40+ yards down the field to watch JJ Nelson drop it that's all the better. At least we can get a little thrill beyond watching Kirk try to fight through 3 guys trying to get an extra yard and a half.

I’d fire McCoy before getting Rosen in there. MCoys creativity for this offense is like watching Heinz ketsup pour out of the bottle.

Bradford has an awfully low yards per pass attempt through 2 games unacceptable. If Rosen can't manage that it then we might as well cut our losses with him as well. makes me sick this team is throwing in the towel after they fall behind. I don't want to see them throw the towel on the season which makes me wonder are they deliberately tanking?

I don't want to see them throw the towel on the season which makes me wonder are they deliberately tanking? at this point I would. lock up the #1 pick and trade it for 2-3 future #1 picks and trade those #1 picks for future picks so the next coach comes in getting 1/3 of the number one picks for a couple of years to build a team. too bad dj's and fitzs contract make them untradeable or I would start with them, but we are stuck with those mistakes until they retire.

No to Rosen.
Not until next season when we have a new coaching staff and GM

Look this team isn't going anywhere this year. They will be lucky to win 3 games. Go for that #1 draft pick. This team needs help in just about every area. Turn that #1 pick into several #1 picks and a 2nd and start the rebuild. Let Bradford keep playing until he either gets hurt or through the first 11 games. If he gets hurt before the 11th game let Glennon have the team until game 11. Then bring Rosen in and let him have the last 5 games. Let him get his feet wet for next year.
Might want to bring in a new O coordinator ( if he makes it though the season ), and a new head coach. Don't think Wilks is going to make it as a head coach.

Yes Rosen.
Why not. OL is healthy. Got David. Got Larry. Rosen seemed to have chemistry with Kirk. The rest of the offense can take a hike. JJ, Chad, Seals. Worthless.
Anyways, why not? I know the radio keeps blaming the OL, but the OL hasnt been playing that bad at all. The QB has enough time. Its just Bradford has been awful. And even with Mccoys crap playcalling, I think Rosen could at least make better reads and throws.

Maybe give Leftwich a shot at OC. Former QB and can't really be any worse then McCoy.

I assumed Bradford will not be injured while Rosen ages. (Someone had to be "that guy" who started the chants.) If Bradford were playing like a top 25 QB I might agree, but he isn't. Right now Blaine Gabbert is playing better than him. Sam's not just starting QB bad, he's backup QB bad. Besides, Bradford had an expected shelf life of 3 games. He's past due. He's also averaging a retched 125 yards/gm at 4 yds/att. I understand protecting Josh, but this is embarrassing. And for those wanting Sam or Mike to start for this lousy team... why? If they were getting eaten alive by a porous Oline, then I'd agree. There's no reason to put Josh out there if he's going to get hurt. But the Oline hasn't been a major issue. Only 3 sacks on 61 throws isn't bad. Especially when you consider Donald and Suh got shut out (in sacks). This is actually a great time for Josh to learn. And it's not like he's the first rookie QB in the last 5 years to start prematurely. A number of those guys had success too.
