And you forgot one important factor. 32 other guys (teams) are looking for that one diamond in the rough. It's not easy to project an apache meth head making it to your "squad". No, the flaw in that analogy is that all 32 teams are scouring the entire country. 100,000 players. Apache Junction has a very small pool of people in comparison. Look at Rodney Gunter. Even though hes ultimately a bust, he at least made the initial 53. Thats all I ask. But he was also dug out of the most remote rabbit hole in the US. The draft didnt even have a video for him when drafted. Hes a perfect example of: A. Finding that diamond in the middle of nowhere, where nobody else was searching & B. The guy made it his rookie year. With millions of dollars and thousands of hours at your disposal, these things should be achievable. So every team that cuts their 7 round pick should fire the entire scouting dept. Okay makes sense now.

The problem is JJ is the only super fast downfield receiver with the 4.3 type blaze. Until they find another, I keep him. He's a good player if he can avoid the drops that have plagued him. I would say not being able to hang on to the ball is a problem for a WR. And JJ might have speed on the radar but does he ever really separate himself with the ball? I remember that SEattle game that ended in a 6-6 tie. He was run down in OT.

Who apparently stood on the table and said this kid is draftable. Then that kid is garbage in OTAs. 2. If it happens repeatedly every year. Like Campbell this year. Dorian Johnson last year. Marqui Christian 2 years ago. Thats when you fire whoever is in charge of draft decisions. Think about the fact that they waste a draft pick every.single.year. That adds up. A draft pick should always make the roster. And now we have 3 years where this Cards draft committee apparently doesnt know jack about the players theyve drafted. Why? Did they not speak to them? Their college coaches? Theur teammates? Watch film? How is it you failed to realize this kid was not a good football player?

I believe Holden and Boehm have now been cut to make room for waiver claims. Anyone think we will go after P Lynch to replace Glennon?

Dora gone over Jacquis smith. Very interesting.
Knew Boehm was in some trouble, Many people liked that pick at the time and I am sure they are the same that will bash Keim for the choice.
Bring AJ Howard back to practice squad please. At least Penny will be around to be called up when time comes and it will come.
They like Munyer, kept him around last year when it seemed he didnt have a chance.

What the FFFFFFFFFFFFlippin heck, we cut Dora?
Dora was amazing. PFF had him as one of the best players in all the NFL this pre season. Really not happy with this.

Like the PS squad holdovers of Kanoff, Penny, James, Tolliver (started to come on after 2nd pre-season game) and Vollert (player who I mentioned about 3-4 weeks ago) as Gresham had a lot of good things to say about him. I am surprised Campbell didn't make it though ... rule for low draft picks and UDFA's is you can't miss OTA or training camp reps and Campbell missed a lot of the OTA's on PUP.
