Scooby Wright has been cut. It was time for him to go, just not cut out for this league. We have better prospects at LB.
Zeke Turner needs to make this team.

Chris Campbell, Darius Victor and Matt McCrane (sorry over evaluators) have been but.

Yes, Glennon has the spot as he should. Maybe a bit more expensive than we would like, but its the smart choice.
SIde note, Chris Campbell was the choice with the pick we got for Veldheer so there goes that. Nothing in return for Veldheer now.

Campbell gone..
You spend an entire year...millions of dollars and hundreds of scouting hours determining who the absolute best 7 draft choices are.....and 1 of the guys you determined to be draftable doesnt even make the team.
I cannot believe this has happened again. (Yes I can. With drunky at the wheel, anythings possible)
I would fire EVERYBODY.
If you spend a year making a decision, and that decision is a mega failure, then your decision making skills are crap.

If he clears waivers he might find himself on practice squad.

But do you understand the concept of making draft picks? Thats not hyperbole when I say "they spend a year making these choices". Imagine that. You spend 12 months deciding between A and B. Looking at all the evidence. All the data. You choose B. And 3 months later you realize B was the wrong choice. This issue is not the player busted. Its that he was SOOO bad...that he didnt even make your initial 53, a couple months after you determined he was a very good draft choice. The ask is simple: draft guys who are good enough to at least make the 53 their first year. If you cant handle that, then get out of football scouting.

I’m less upset about a 6th rounder being cut (they shouldn’t make good teams) and more upset we gave up a veteran back up at Left or Right tackle for nothing now. Did we even do anything with Veldheer’s money? I guess its a positive we didnt have to eat that on the cap.
I have no clue how he is doing with packers, but I was intrigued with Equanimeous St Brown at that pick. There were a few WR’s there that were intriguing. Hopefully he makes practice squad and can develop.

I’m not too mad cause I wasn’t too high on Campbell(Though, Quenton Meeks should’ve been the pick over him), but I’ma be furious if Brandon Williams makes the roster over him.

Wouldnt be surprised if we see Reddick as a 2019 cut next season
Man out there playing with 4th stringers, looking average. You can see his head is absolutely spinning out there. He has no idea what to do.
Ill say it again: theres no such thing as projects in the NFL. You cant learn how to do something at its highest level. If you need a LB, draft a LB. If you need a CB, draft a CB. etc.
Reddick was a DE in college. We should try him at DE.

I think he would be even worse at that spot now. Pretty sad when an undrafted rookie safety makes more plays at LB than our 2017 first round pick. Let’s see what happens during regular season though.

Disagree about the Campbell thing, sometimes you are betting on traits and sometimes it isn't until you get them running side by side that you see the margins in ability.
Totally agree about the Reddick part though, he won't get cut but I still don't understand the pick. He was a 3rd/4th round project with a great 'story' and the team fell for it hook line and sinker. Don't use a first round pick on a guy because he had a great practice at the senior bowl... I said at the time the pick should have been Foster. Yes the off field stuff made him a gamble but at least you have a very high caliber linebacker.
