Awesome, another year hating on Brandon Williams... if he actually plays, I suppose. Gresham and Golden activated from the PUP list to the 53-man roster. I bet Penny makes the practice squad. I wonder, too if this means the WRs are good enough or if someone will be added. I'd LIKE to think they are good enough, just hang on to the ball, JJ!

Here is 53 man roster: 10 OL, Gardeck and Brandon Williams making it are biggest surprises. Gardeck at least does something.

Very surprised at Penny. Butler didnt do anything and all Little did was cheap shot guys on special teams. Yeah ive always thought Penny has done a good job with the opportunities he has been given

Damn Butler and Little gone? SK better get a WR in here. That was the biggest surprise for me.... we are super thin at wr. Definitely need to bring at least one more in.

Ian Rapoport says "Some teams called to trade for JJ Nelson, but Cardinals shopped Brice Butler instead"

10 OL isn't a surprise to me, we need the depth. I'm happy with that decision.
Biggest surprise to me is the young DBs we are keeping. Turner, Howard, Nichols all make it. But don't get me wrong, I'm happy about that, they looked good.
Also happy with our DL depth and Dora especially.
Really, the ONLY surprise to me is Butler getting cut. Which has more to do with my expectations entering camp. He did nothing in preseason so he deserved the axe. Big disappointment. We need to somehow find a decent WR because that group sucks and is my only real concern with the roster. Everything else looks fine.
A few players I wouldn't mind keeping on the PS: Robinson, Penny, Campbell.

According to his agent, Alec James DE should be signed to the practice squad.

Campbell gone.. You spend an entire year...millions of dollars and hundreds of scouting hours determining who the absolute best 7 draft choices are.....and 1 of the guys you determined to be draftable doesnt even make the team. I cannot believe this has happened again. (Yes I can. With drunky at the wheel, anythings possible) I would fire EVERYBODY. If you spend a year making a decision, and that decision is a mega failure, then your decision making skills are crap. More Zazerbole. New word for Oxford.
BB has cut a lot of his draft picks.
I would argue it's honesty to keep the best players regardless of where you drafted them. Players like to know they are being given a fair shake.
The way to win as well - not playing favorites. "The only way to fly".

I hope they can sigh Penny, Karnoff, and McCrane to the PS. I sure McCrane and Penny could make some teams. I thought both Penny and McCrane did a heck of a job with the opportunities they had. I saw Penny blow up more than one LB, and McCrane out kicked Dawson.

Yes however you forget the most important factor: Time spent researching. If you give me 10 months and 20 million dollars I guarantee I will find 1 good woman in Apache Junction. And if I fail even with all that time and resources, than I should be fired. How incompetent can you be to fail with all that advantage on your side? Keim, answer me. If you cant make a good decision with all that time and money, then you are the worst investigator EVER. And you forgot one important factor. 32 other guys (teams) are looking for that one diamond in the rough. It's not easy to project an apache meth head making it to your "squad". No, the flaw in that analogy is that all 32 teams are scouring the entire country. 100,000 players. Apache Junction has a very small pool of people in comparison. Look at Rodney Gunter. Even though hes ultimately a bust, he at least made the initial 53. Thats all I ask. But he was also dug out of the most remote rabbit hole in the US. The draft didnt even have a video for him when drafted. Hes a perfect example of: A. Finding that diamond in the middle of nowhere, where nobody else was searching & B. The guy made it his rookie year. With millions of dollars and thousands of hours at your disposal, these things should be achievable.

Don't forget the post-week-1 pick ups. There might some players that are too risky for any guaranteed money, but may be worth a look after the season starts.

Ian Rapoport says "Some teams called to trade for JJ Nelson, but Cardinals shopped Brice Butler instead" We should take anything offered for JJ. Sometimes I think Keim is like a dog with 2 bones.

The problem is JJ is the only super fast downfield receiver with the 4.3 type blaze. Until they find another, I keep him. He's a good player if he can avoid the drops that have plagued him.
