Here’s to health and a new, strong team identity for the Wilk’s era. Time to see what we’ve got, and where we need to draft and spend money in 2019.

Whats unfortunate is this will be the 1st time the entire teams (vets and rooks) will be together this year.
Meaning...there will probably be a meeting week 1....about Keim.
Bad way to start the new season. How are rooks suppose to sit there and hear their GM just got his 2nd extreme DUI, and then be told to conduct themselves as professionals?

Its a difficult conundrum that Bidwill put himself in by not firing him. He must have been very impressed by his draft this year and doesn't want to lose the talent that he thinks he has in Keim. I wonder how he came to the 5 week suspension decision. Obviously firing him at least crossed his mind, but instead only 5 weeks and a fine? I'm guessing its because of training camp. He doesn't want his GM to miss the first wave of cuts in camp perhaps. If I was MB I would suspend him until week 1 of the regular season. Let the staff make the decisions without Keim. That way when those players get cut, they will know it was done by someone who can make clear decisions and not be hypocritical.

We all know the real GM the next 5 weeks is Steve Wilks. I am okay with that. I think he can do the job part-time just fine. If Mike Bidwill has to extend the SK suspension, or let SK go, I am okay with that too. The team has games to play and win. We all move on.

Urban had posted this a few days ago: "In his absence, Keim’s duties will be handled by multiple members of the personnel department."
What is mildly interesting is that there is no 'personnel department' in the organizational listing on the Cards' website. Maybe what he meant to say is that many among the entire staff will be doing double duty... from administration to coaching. Anybody's guess.
I agree with any subsequent actions re Keim.

Right! Team attitude means a lot and can change outcomes.

We've all been waiting for the 'light' .... since DJ went down at the end of the 1st game of the 2017 season .... I was crushed last September along with most Cards fans. Now there is renewed hope. Let It Be!

The 'Welcome To The Cardinals' messages to rookies and veterans this year will certainly be different. Only the really dumb player will test Mike Bidwill.
