Come on guys........if it comes down to either one of them does it even matter....I would go with Kanoff...but i did`nt just give the other bum 5 M dollars either.....basically Who cares One thing of importance is that one is on the way out, and the other is on his way in and (hopefully) up - and cheap for the present. Another is that Glennon is a sacrificial goat to be put on the altar if Sam cannot last, and neither come with good odds of surviving a season. This is a bad year to keep only two QBs.
I'm thinking if a choice between two or three has to be made it will be a matter of ego and reputation that decides the outcome - meaning management ego (SK), and that meaning Kanoff holds the short straw. Hopefully I'm wrong.
All IMO, as always.

Alright, time to put this behind us and hopefully never have to talk about it again.
I request this thread be closed since the man is back to work...

NONE OF US is privy to contract details or unwritten understandings between MB and other individuals in management or coaching, but you can think otherwise if you choose. What sports reporters think or say is not always totally true either. If you have quotations from MB or SK about the terms of Wilks' or BA's or SK's contract or who has sole authority in some area, pass them along please. I am not saying there is no general separation or delegation of authority between management positions, but that anyone higher up can exert some pressure or influence upon those below if desired, even if not "prevented" by contract terms, title or general practices.
I have long suspected that BA snowed MB and SK big time when he was first interviewed, and convinced them that he alone must be the deciding individual concerning anything involving coaches or players. That is the only way he could have been allowed to retain a player like Butler, or a coach like Amos J. for such a length of time. It was painfully obvious to everyone they both were causes of failure, yet BA championed both as long as he could. Whatever truth exists about that period, none of us will ever be told. We can only guess and conjecture based on what was known and visible at the time.
I would hope that both MB and SK learned from that experience and constructed the contract with Wilks to allow some oversight, if not ultimate overruling capacity. But even if no such written terms exist, the lesson should have been learned and a complete hands off policy is now gone forever. Thus, pressure on any coach would be applied when necessary for the good of the Cardinals franchise, as it would be for any other business with a problem otherwise left unresolved by the person who should act.
Finally, if one believes that SK or anyone else in that position would not influence a keep or cut decision on one of his higher draft picks, there is still that bridge in NY for sale.

Lol, this is a terrible argument. Kanoff has played better through 2 preseason games than Glennon! He must be the better player!!! Yeah and Capi is out-producing Chandler Jones. Guess we know who the better player is now between them... Give me a break man. I'm not saying Glennon is a stud, but people need to pump the damn breaks a little. With an injury-proned starting QB and a rookie, it DOES make sense to have an experienced 3rd string. Again, if you can't realize why this makes SOME sense at all, I can't help you. It's fine if you prefer Kanoff. I do too right now, but you have to at least understand big picture. being a veteran doesnt mean youre good. Thats your only argument. "Hes a vet. Hes a vet. Hes a vet", Hes been trash for 5 years. Id take an unproven rook like Kanoff over proven crap any day. He's not crap though. He's actually probably one of the better 3rd string QBs in the NFL... lol

Kanoff has showed better than Glennon this PS. Period. Thats all that matters. If Glennon were better than Kanoff, then he wouldve showed it.
