And I'll ask you where is your proof that he does? You don't have any. Unless you actually work for the Cardinals. Do you?

We'll find out during final cuts if Keim is still boozing. If Brandon and Glennon are on the roster, then hes still Norm from Cheers. I mean it's still going to be understandable if Glennon is the #3 QB. Williams, not so much... but I'm not going to lose sleep over who the #5 CB is. Although that Deatrick Nichols made some plays the other night.

I mean it's still going to be understandable if Glennon is the #3 QB. Why? Hes barely played because hes injured, and when he did play, he was awful. Kanoff is not injured and has played admirably. The #3 QB is no star, but hes done well enough. And Kanoff is way cheaper. Theres not 1 good justification why Glennon should be kept.

It’s kinda like insurance, that we really didn’t need or use. If we wouldn’t have drafted Rosen, Glennon would be the #2. And Kanoff would be the #3. But the big picture now is, we have 4 qb’s Glennon needs to go.. unless he goes crazy in preseason soon.. he may not even play in a game.

I will leave others to decide if its a good one or not.
Kanoff is PS eligible. Cards can keep Glennon and Kanoff can be squirelled away on the PS while the mayhem of last minute cuts see's other, more obvious names, pursued in the resulting FA scramble. Glennon can be used as injury cover for the first few games, protecting Rosen, and may even, following injury, allow a desperate team to trade for him. Glennon can be cut after the season has settled down and Kanoff promoted, if the FO want to go down the route of having two rookie back ups. Or if they don't, keep them both. If someone comes sniffing around Kanoff, make the decision re Glennon, then.

Just had to go there didn't you. And when will you remember it's HC Wilks and Staff that make the cuts Not the GM. smh What makes you think the GM doesnt make cut decisions? He makes the hiring decisions. Its not exclusive. Im sure Keim and Wilks sit down and have conversations, but dont think for a second Keim doesnt make decisions. If he wants Glennon and BW on this roster, then they will be, period. Play would say neither should be. So we will have an answer in 2 weeks. If they are still here, Keim is protecting them. Glennon is a 4 million dollar cap dead cap hit this year if we cut him. Sadly contracts are part of the decision on who stays and who gets cut in the NFL. Contracts come under the GM. Because there's a salary cap and cuts impact the cap the GM has to be part of the decision on how the final roster is shaped. In a perfect world the HC would decide on the final roster based on his vision for the team on the field. It's not and that's if the HC is established and has political control. Wilks is a rookie HC. If this was the Faber College football team Wilks would be on double secret probation.

Because Glennon has played more than 2 preseason games in his career... Before you say "he sucked", yeah as a starter. He's proven to be a good 3rd string in his NFL career so far. I like Kanoff so far but if you're gonna sit here and say you can't understand at all why the team would choose Glennon over him, you're delusional.

I have ammo: Kanoff has played better Kanoff hasnt been injured Kanoff is cheaper Kanoff has played better Kanoff has played better...why on earth would you keep the worse player??? what do you have? Some mediocre performance that Glennon did at some other time with some other team.

He must be the better player!!! Yeah and Capi is out-producing Chandler Jones. Guess we know who the better player is now between them... Give me a break man. I'm not saying Glennon is a stud, but people need to pump the damn breaks a little. With an injury-proned starting QB and a rookie, it DOES make sense to have an experienced 3rd string. Again, if you can't realize why this makes SOME sense at all, I can't help you. It's fine if you prefer Kanoff. I do too right now, but you have to at least understand big picture.

Id take an unproven rook like Kanoff over proven crap any day.
