i think he is only gonna be there for 48 hrs(if that)...rules are lil different for rich people You can say that again. All my life I heard how AZ had the harshest DUI laws in the U.S. The original Tent City was built because of DUIs. But if youre rich and famous, and get an extreme DUI? Ha! Practically J walking. I need to hurry up and get wealthy so I can be above the law too When a bar beats home life, life at home must really suck. We do not know anything about the Keims fambly. Maybe better that we do not.

Those with real money can get away with murder. OJ Simpson and Bobby Kennedy are two that come to mind. There has always been a double standard where the law is concerned.

Those with real money can get away with murder. OJ Simpson and Bobby Kennedy are two that come to mind. There has always been a double standard where the law is concerned. I'm assuming you mean Ted Kennedy who probably committed manslaughter. Bobby Kennedy was actually murdered in a premeditated attack. There's a flip side to the fact that people with money can actually defend themselves against the power of the State. Many people who don't commit crimes are convicted including murder and some are even put to death. Not having money means your essentially at the mercer of the State. Public defenders are completely overmatched by the resources of the State. So yes if you have money you can actually defend yourself. If you don't your pretty much screwed. The actual double standard is if you have money and resources to go up against the State it's a fair fight. Ted Kennedy had the power of both the State and money. OJ had a fair fight but the State on all levels including how evidence was handled at the crime scene was grossly incompetent. SK has been punished according to both the law and the NFL code of conduct. He isn't getting off lightly he is getting the prescribed punishment. The reality is he will either get his act together or he won't. No penalty will change that. If he's an alcoholic this probably changes nothing. If it's a one off maybe he moves forward and puts it in his rear view mirror? As Zaz points out it's his second offense. First in a very long time. It's completely up to SK to get it together or not.

If he doesn’t quit drinking, it’s a good thing he is “Uber” wealthy. Pun intended. Because I guarantee if he drinks and drives again, he’s done! And if you don’t believe he is on a lot of people’s radar. NFL and MB probably watching pretty close.

I recently had to redo a gear set on my boat lift and I can tell you that I would have preferred to been have been at a bar instead of at home doing that because it sucked. Especially when I dropped the cover into the water and had to go fishing for it.

I assume SK was released to 'house arrest' this weekend. Where was the PD paparazzi? Why no TMZ pics? Harrumph!
Maybe this sordid event will take care of itself now. SK needs help. I hope he gets the best care and beats the dependency problem for good.

Almost halfway through the suspension. Time flies! It also helps that no more bad news beset the team. I like how the organization is really focused on TC and picking up some good talent off the street.

You know SK is suspended because their is no phony praise about Brandon Williams. I'm surprised STeve has not hired an airplane to fly a sign over the stadium with a quote about how great BW is. The first time you see a BW compliment you know SK's suspension is over.

Mikey enjoys the power of being GM, Steves office might be a storage room when he returns.

Is there a date set for his return? A date? You mean like the hottie on stand-by at the prison gate? I saw that happen on a couple gangster movies. Stevie might like that kinda date too.

Just for context, I thought In would put this here.... NASCARPeople in powerful positions do not always do what they say. Conservative or liberal....we need better leaders.

SK will be reinstated by week 3 of the pre-season. I wonder if he will return ready to go to work, or will he return slowly.. hopefully the club won’t have a bunch of injuries between now and then. He’s probably on top of who’s available and the team needs. If he returns to the club, understanding that he needs to be humble. He needs to “do his job” better than ever. It is impossible to return to work, like nothing happened. The issue will be the first thing reporters will mention anytime his name comes up. It will be a tuff road for a year or 2. I don’t think he will quit drinking, I bet he is very careful though. If there is another incident, he’s done! Less that 2 weeks left on his suspension.. Fingers Crossed!!

It may be longer than 5 weeks, because Michael B said SK also has "other" programs/training sessions he has to complete as well. That SK won't come back to work until all is taken care of properly.
