For me, the alcohol level is important. If he was only slightly over the limit, that's one thing. ( after all...just 4 or 5 beers will get you there ) If he was double the limit...well that's more than a miscalculation, that's not caring and just plain .

BAC is the crux in MB decision... perhaps he's going to be hands off until the NFL has some kind of statement or decision to make, or perhaps he'll punish him immediately after the police report is released. I expect the news will come out by Monday. A silver-lining, the DUI happened between mini-camp and training camp. FA period and the draft is over, so not many more critical decisions need to be made other than cuts, something McDonough can do fine by himself.

There is no excuse for this. As a GM, You are the leader, the go to guy, and example setter.
In this day of UBER LYFT OR WHATEVER THE HELL WHY PUT YOURSELF, FAMILY, TEAM, AND OTHER DRIVERS AT RISK for shame, injury or death
I always feared this kind of thing happening. This is dumb
KEIM WAKE UP you have little KIDS

So...who takes over the David Johnson contract talks now? Does it stall in limbo or does it get done? With camp around the corner, cap space knowledge a must, future player personnel decisions and player contract awareness needed, and roster churning to be completed...this could not have occurred at a worse time! Just plain dumb! BA used to say when they broke before Camp started...DON'T BE THAT GUY...well...Guess what Steve...YOU'RE THAT GUY NOW!!!

SK won't recover from this mistake for a long time. Say goodbye to any leadership roles for him for this year. Every team failure also could now point back to the GM's character and judgment ability. MB has no choice but to fine SK for exceedingly poor judgment this past week. Lastly, IMV this thread should be moved Team History soon.
It can be moved, but unfortunately won't be just history for some time to come.

Don't want to say karma but...idk like how can he put him self in this situation?
Honestly.Uber literally gets to you in 5 min.I wonder what his BAC is.If it it double the limit Bidwill will have to throw the hammer down on him or he will look like a hypocrite.I know Floyd had another one but still.
Hopefully it is around the legal limit.

I dont care what his levels are. This is inexcusable. If you are slightly buzzed then don't drive. Keim is rich, call an uber. This is not a hard concept.

SK should give his resignation by 9:00 tomorrow, or he should be fired by noon. I believe SK has plead guilty, and will go through the process.. Just a terrible event, on so many levels. Imagine the story’s about 2 Brothers in charge of the cards and suns! Definitely will be a story! Thanks SK, I hope you can recover from the whole situation.. Quickly!

www.azdot.gov/motor-vehicles/driver-services/driver-improvement/duiPer AZDOT, if the detected substance was alcohol, and I assume that is the case here, Steve Keim has a mandatory jail sentence of 10 consecutive days, and maybe a fine, education class, car lock, etc. The team has to train employees on AZ DUI and DWI laws. Maybe the GM skipped class that day. For a hi-viz millionaire, jail time hurts the ego the most.

Other NFL staff members have received mandatory jail time but have been given work release, which is typical for employed offenders in AZ. He’d have to wear an ankle bracelet and be home at certain hours, or at worst check into a facility at bedtime for 10 days.
