The team might benefit from trading #3 Budda Baker now. However, the trade would not change the team's immediate game results because the Offense cannot produce enough points to win most games. 13, 14, and 13 points (4 TDs, 4 FGs, 3 XPs) are gross failures on the offensive side.
A #3 Budda Baker trade might bring enough Draft capital to shore up the DL or OL next year or longer. I would hate to see Baker go, but maybe the team should let him go now while he has some potential to make a good defense great.
A KC late first round pick would be nice.

Did Bunting get injured too? I was so Glad when they took him out after that horrible display of being lost on that TD throw by QB love late in the game. Our High-Priced FA CB is a disappointment. Let the younger players have his spot and see if we can trade him to some team hurting at CB.

I think he got a neck injury trying to turn around and see that Love pass to his WR for a TD. Bunting looked like an awkward ballet dancer screwing himself into the air.

Be patient and retain your picks. This team is going nowhere. No need to mortgage your future for short term gains that won't result in a playoff appearance or anything meaningful.

Trade budda pls or convert him as a LB. We need to start making some good decision for now. The time to trade Budda was before the start of the 2023 season. Now the rest of the league has figured out what many of us knew back then...Budda has no coverage skills. Those of us astute fans knew this for a long time. He is a linebacker asked to play safety. He made highlight reel plays and got a reputation for that.
I've seen similar safeties in the past. Roy Williams was Budda Baker 20 years ago. Guy played at Oklahoma and made big hits and key plays. Went to the Cowboys. Did well his rookie year until teams realized he couldn't cover and he got exposed and never did anything after that.

A few big-name dudes are on the move today.
Ossenfort's office door is closed. He's taking a nap.

Agree. He gets more tackles than others regularly, and offenses must plan against him. So far, that's not true for our other defenders individually.
EXAMPLE: At the 49ers, Baker had 12 solo and 8 combined tackles. Our next best defender was Mack Wilson with 5 solo and 6 combined.
Reason enough to keep an exemplary player on the team, at least through his current contract. So far he shows no signs of slowing down, so let's not be anxious to part ways with a winner at his job.
IMHO
Like Kyler, Baker balls out for his size. But I’m always fascinated that the same people who talk constantly of the negatives of Kyler’s stature let the negatives of Budda’s stature slide. You say offenses plan against him, which is true when it comes to tackle lanes. Would it surprise you to know that Budda has allowed 87% reception success when targeted? That’s a pretty big negative for a DB. At least he then gets the tackle. He is great at some things and poor at others. If a safety is your team’s best defensive player, you’re in trouble. They are the defense of last resort. I think we need to be open to a Budda trade due to his limitations, his age, and mainly his contract. Who makes a safety their second highest cap hit? Who makes their two starting safeties their #2 and #3 top salary cap hits? Answer…no one but the AZ Cardinals. Buddha is a safety so it's a bit different animal. It's not like playing corner where height is a much bigger issue these days with taller/faster WRs. Buddha is more of an old school safety. He's perfect for a nickel based defense with a team that can stop the run with just front four. I'm not surprised by completion rates because that's not his specialty. The difference between Baker and Murray is with Baker you know he leads the defense. There's no real proof that Murray is much of a leader. I want to trade Buddha because of injury history, but I've never questioned his size. Murray runs himself into sacks and makes the OL look worse than it is. And height matters for a QB, not just for passing, but for sacks, if you can't step forward into the pocket.

Your thoughts ,what say you ? The Browns might be interested in offloading Watson and his contract. Watson's contract with the Browns has been described as a team killer. I heard last week that Watson's future is likely over with the Browns. The team cannot trade him. They have to cut him. Watson's contract has a no-trade clause through 2026.The Cardinals might benefit from Watson as b/u to Murray in a crunch. Watson is 6'3" and 225. I like the man's size. I do have a big problem with Watson's QB production as the Brown's starter. athlonsports.com/nfl/browns-digest/deshaun-watson-browns-salary-cap-armageddon-contract-restructure

Your thoughts ,what say you ? They'll need the draft capital. They already traded their WR1, so they're willing to deal. I would be interested in Myles Garrett, but that price could be insane
