Not only is Marvin Harrison Jr good he's tall enough Kyler Murray doesn't need him to be 15 yards down the field to see him.
I already started another thread about getting rid of Kyler Murray. But if we are going to keep him we definitely need a tall talented wide receiver and that's the no-brainer at number four if he's available.

Odunze is the same height, heavier, stronger, and comes down with 70% of 50-50 balls to MHJ’s 43.3%. You want to see a rate above 60% for a stud WR1. And then there is this: x.com/mattharmon_byb/status/1772282839569969259?s=61Odunze is the only guy with ALL GREEN. I don’t know if I’ve seen that before.

I'm horrible with names but I do watch a lot of college football and if I wasn't going to go with Marvin Harrison Jr I'd go with number one with Washington at wide receiver.

To bring this thread back to its original intent - I have moved more steadfast to stay and pick MHJ at #4 unless:
1) Vikings MUST give up #11 - #23 and AT LEAST their 2025 1st rounder though I would ask for a "sweetener" in maybe a 2025 4th rounder or a 2026 3rd rounder. 2) If Monti trades down to #6, the Giants must give up #47 and a 2025 3rd or 4th rounder ... or else move on. If Monti gets intel that the Chargers would be choosing between Nabers or Alt and the Cards could still get MHJ at #6, then #47 should allow Monti to pull the trigger on this one.
Dominque Foxworthy on "Get Up" discussed MHJ being generational and is enough of a difference maker to unlock KM1 that he advised the Cards to just stay at #4 and pick MHJ. He brought up the example of the Vikings in 1998 drafting Randy Moss as their 1st rd receiver and the Vikings went from 9-7 in 1997 to 15-1 in 1998 with the only addition being Randy Moss. Randy Moss presence allowed the Randall Cunningham offense to also fully unlock Chris Carter.
My belief is a team with 2 offensive weapons that DC's must consider double-teaming is an offense with a half decent OL to become a top 5-6 offense in the NFL. Monti drafting MHJ and then in 3rd round choice of Pearsall, Burton, Polk etc.. to support M. Wilson coupled with Trey McBride and good run game fully unlocks the Cards offense.

I am very interested in just the fact the NY Post 11 days prior to the first round of the draft almost seems like they are preparing their fans for a NY Giant trade up to #4 for JJ McCarthy. My thoughts are their is such a plethora of WR's in the top 100 of all NFL teams draft boards that vet receivers who want $20M+ and want extensions/new contracts are not happy with the $$ being offered. I also think in 2024 if a team wants a young, very good vet WR the draft capital required is not very great. Diggs got traded and the Bills didn't even get a 2024 draft pick !!! IMO both Tee Higgins and Aiyuk could be traded for by a team needing a #1 WR for as little as a 2nd or 3rd rounder. I believe the Patriots who have a ton of cap space will draft their QB at #3 and then trade for either Higgins or Aiyuk. The Pats could go after Aiyuk with the trade being 49ers give up Aiyuk and one of their many 4th round compensatory picks to the Patriots for pick #34. If I am the NY Giants, during the draft I am calling the Bengals as their pick #18 gets closer and ask the Bengals (if Brian Thomas Jr. is on the board at #18) if they would take pick #70 and a 2025 4th rounder for Tee Higgins. Of course the Giants would need to have some preliminary talks showing some interest to see what the $$ range is Tee Higgins wants on a 4 yr deal but the relationship between Higgins/Bengals might have deteriorated enough that Higgins would like to go to a Big Market team in NY. NOTE: Above I have the Giants trading pick #70 because I am assuming the Giants traded up with Cardinals and Monti held firm wanting their 2nd round - #47 as part of that deal.

UPDATE - New report out today that Aiyuk has un-followed the 49ers on IG ... Pats GM should start making calls and see if my proposed deal for the above could happen. Remember Aiyuk's girlfriend within 12 hrs of the 49ers losing the SB made posts about Aiyuk not playing for the 49ers again.

This morning the two big trade scenarios are from the NFL.com’s full 7 round mock draft and ESPN’s annual all trades mock.
NFL.com has us trading back to #6 for #47 AND the Giants 2025 2nd rounder. We give up #4 and our 4th rounder. We end up with Odunze and G Cooper Beebe plus next year’s 2nd, and lose out on MHJ (taken #5) and our 4th. I think in this scenario we’d have a good shot at the Chargers drafting Alt instead of MHJ and us having our choice of whomever we wanted at #4 on our draft board, likely Harrison, which would be an awesome deal for us.
ESPN has the interesting trade. It’s an immediate three way trade worked out with the Vikings and Falcons. Vikings trade for #8 to sweeten the deal for us, so we end up with #8, #23 and next year’s Vikings first rounder. The Falcons also get our #71 to facilitate their trade with the Vikings. We basically get the “3 firsts” deal with the Vikings that has been rumored for weeks, and then give up #71 to move to #8 where we likely obtain Odunze or Nabers. We end with, say, Odunze, a top CB at #23, and a 2025 1st rounder in exchange for losing MHJ and #71.
