SF is not well. Something is happening. NO is a more fun town for the players and certainly their cash goes farther compared to any town in CA.

That's a good way to glean information about the Cards' playbook... and relatively cheap, too. Will Dobbs be a tattletale? I'd like to think not, but the risk exists. I don't put it past the Niners...

Good for Josh Dobbs. He sure does get around the NFL now. 4 teams in 12 months. That's a lot of moving and new apartments. I wish I had Dobbs' talents for aeronautical engineering and pro football. He is durable and can step in at anytime for the starter. He's not a starter and never will be, but he can gap-fill while the starter gets well. And if I ever needed someone to explain orbital mechanics to the locker room, Dobbs is my best choice for the job.

The Cardinals received the worst score from NFL.com on FA.
I really like this. It means this management is willing to do this the right way.
Keim would have been plugging every hole with big contracts for mediocre players.
I have hope for these guys, they are doing things right.

The CB1 I wanted in FA, Sneed from KC, was franchised but now traded to the Titans for a future 2025 3rd round pick. He is expected to get a long term contract close to $19 million a year. He’s 27. Kinda wish we’d done this.

But, the player doesn't always just look at the cash offer. There are other financial concerns. Taxes is becoming a huge factor for guys who want to save more dollars. And the Missus gets a vote for the married guys. Some wives need to be close to old family. Or they will hate their husband and the team and skew all kinds of survey results...if you know what I mean! We also know Monti tried to sign other players and they were not interested. That's okay. People need to be happy to perform at their best.

I am in a huge agreement with you DH ... when this trade was first announced, I didn't even notice this was for 2025 draft pick. 2025's draft is expected to have far less depth of talent than the 2024 draft and so trading away only a 2025 3rd rounder appears to be a bargain for the Titans. My only consternation about this trade is the Chiefs are a smart organization, so do they know something negative about Sneed that no one else knows ? Anyway - the33rdteam has a new article on 3 players who are ripe for a trade before the draft and one of those 3 players is someone I've been clamoring for since February who had a PFF of 90 this past season. 3 Players who could be traded before 2024 draftI am NOT wanting to trade and bring in Reddick who will turn 30 immediately before the 1st regular season game of the 2024 season. However the other 2 players mentioned in the above link are 24 and age 26 going into their prime. The DT mentioned in the link had a PFF score or 90 and so it is interesting with the discussion of trade down scenarios between Cards and Giants, Vikings or Broncos whether these "extra" pick(s) could be used to get a stud DT or a CB1 reference in the article.

Brown would be a huge addition to our suspect Dline. None of our FA Dline additions seem like anything but depth rotational guys. I hope I’m wrong.

Could Monti get Derrick Brown from the Panthers for #35 and the "free" 2025 1st rounder garnered from the Vikings in a trade down deal ? This would mean with #11, #23 & #27, Monti can concentrate on getting top talent at WR, Edge & CB since the Cards would have one of the 5 top DT's in the entire NFL though DB would need to see a new contract of approx 4 Yr. $112-$114M in my estimation. Remember Budda's contract is going to fall off in 2025 so this makes an exchange to get a top DT within the budget.
