Baker deal? Never mind. I meant Brown. Brown for Jefferson? LOL...... Perhaps Jefferson...who knows other than Monti....I'm watching "X" for the brother of "Flash." LOL

If we picked up Williams, that would more than likely eliminate our shot at picking up Marvin. Williams would be a replacement for Hollywood Brown, hence as a true WR2. He has presence out on the perimeter and if he and Marvin were brought in each would help the other. With Trey McBride then that would be three huge targets for Kyler to throw to (as well as Dortch/ Moore), hence a lot of work for any Defense to contend with. There is a lot of risk v reward associated with Mike Williams, and for any team the consideration will come down to the amount of dollar.

One day later, we got one of the tackles and have an answer on DHump. Still interested in Kendall Fuller, DJ Reader, Chase Young, Armstead, or now perhaps the Chargers Mike Williams. Get one of those and the first six picks of the draft for us get really interesting. Williams would want too much money. He is great when on the field, but the problem is he has never played a full season. Here are his game starts in 7 seasons:
1, 5, 15, 11, 14, 13, 3
If we picked up Williams, that would more than likely eliminate our shot at picking up Marvin. No thanks, I would rather us go with Marvin and take a chance that he does not miss as many games as Williams...
That’s why I said perhaps. I wouldn’t want him as WR1 at 30 yrs old and with his injury history. I’d look at him as WR2 if his context of injuries, age and recent ACL meant we got him at a discount. I’d have no hesitancy using our first pick on a WR1 if we signed him. I’m of the opinion we should take two WR’s in this draft, and this would free up that later pick.

Maybe taking on Williams for five six million a year I can't see paying him any more than that. As far as the trade for Jefferson. I really don't see that happening. He's going to want a gigantic contract in the Vikings are going to want multiple draft picks.

So the Chargers got rid of Mike Williams and Keenan Allen their #1 and #2 WR's.
Does that mean they might trade up for Marvin? Hmm...

Comedians and sportscasters are a lot alike. Not a lot of brains in the kitchen.

The Steelers are struggling to find an answer at QB. Wilson + Fields = 1 QB. Only one guy can play at a time. The team might break .500 again.

The stealers are too cheap to trade up & grab a QB in the top 5. The days of finding a QB diamond in ruff in late 1st or beyond is non existent. It’s glorious I hope they finish 8-8 every year

It’s glorious I hope they finish 8-8 every year Per some X posts this morning, some 'stealers' fans are proud of the PIT ownership for getting QBs Wilson and Fields for pocket change and a low draft pick. A few 'stealers' fans seem to think that PIT actually ripped off DEN and CHI and got the much better deals. That's how bad it is in PIT now. Fans are happy with QB donations. HC Tomlinson still doesn't have a good QB. Maybe it's time for the HC to find another owner. 2025?
