That's awesome! But not too shocking at this point. It should be an interesting season. 3 capable QB's, 1 paid highly to start, 1 decent backup and 1 that everyone wants to see playing right away. I wonder how long before fans will be calling for Rosen at the games.

Glennon makes for a much more compelling 3rd stringer for emergencies than Ryan Lindley ever did, huh? I would feel comfortable with him in the first round of the playoffs if it came to that.

Why have 3 QB's at all?
Just go with Bradford and Rosen, if both get hurt, then go sign some scrub. The season is over anyways. I see no good reason to keep Glennon around at this point.

What if it's late in the season, Bradford is on IR and Rosen is just out for a couple games and you need to win one to go to the playoffs? I see what you're saying but their are so many scenarios where you might need a competent #3 qb....

We've seen first hand what happens when you have a nobody at the 3rd string spot. I know people hate it when any comparison to the Pats are made since they seem to be the exception, but they were able to win with their 3rd stringer when Brady was suspended and JG was hurt. Think as Glennon as our "Stanton", except he's in the 3rd spot at QB.

Interesting that they say established #2 and Cards said he was with first team because Glennon was sick. I mean it wont surprise anyone when he ends up #2, but not so sure it is set quite yet.
And I dont like GLennon and never wanted him here. He is third string. This is like being mad about Gabbert, its pointless. And I saw what it was like to play Logan Thomas and Ryan Lindley so I am for sure good with Glennon or even a Gabbert at third string as history has already shown this franchise it could be worse. We could have beat Carolina with a half way competent QB that year.

Glennon is better than Stanton was. I would rather have him out there than Stanton if I had to win a game. At least at one time he was a starter. Stanton never was.

Rosen will start, Glennon will be the backup, Bradford will be traded to a team that losses their starter in TC or pre-season for a 3rd to 5th rounder. I hope!

I'm a big believer in addition by subtraction. I would love Rosen to start and get out something for Bradford. I think he just sets us back a year and brings nothing to the table.

I really..really....really hope Josh doesn't start until this oline is proven............i can think of nothing more heartbreaking football wise ..as Rosen getting hurt the 1st pro game he ever plays in ...i`m not sold one bit that the oline is any better than game 1 last year (before all the injuries that supposedly made them terrible)

Get bounced in the 1st round? I dont understand the appeal. As I said, if Bradford and Rosen both got hurt, thats fate saying pack up and plan for 2019.

you don't draft a qb many projected as #1 to ride the pine. even matt linearts got to start over kurt freekin warner. and yes u can remember when both our starting qbs were injured and we had to scramble to sign a qb, and the qb we wanted got signed by someone else. so we settled for someone else, and yes we lost the replacements games. preson is not 4 weeks long in addition to all the ota events because you can learn everything in 4 days. not having a 3rd qb bit us in the butt. what good does another one on the team do? really? how long ago did bruce "mext man up" arains retire again? fate is what people make it. hope for the best, plan for the worst. "fate" is the excuse of those that didn't plan ahead.
I hope rosen does get to sit and hone his skills for a year. but i'm not counting on it. how many top 10 selections get to sit out the 1st year at any position? a top ten is a potential hof player. you don't pay them that kind of money to not play, though the rookie cap helps a lot. but rosen has made 17 mill already and hasn't even played a snap yet. it may not be that much compared to top qb pay but 4 of the qbs selected this year are going to hit the 5th year option at the same time, that's going to mean big $ or he's a ufa which also means big money. look at cousins contract. I am sure rosen wants to go to the hof. I am sure the team wants him to. and you don't earn a gold jacket from the bench. both sides, the player and the team want him on the field. it is going to happen at some point. with bradfords injury history its likely to happen this year.
and we need a 3rd incase rosen gets hurt. we lost kurt and matt both within 8 days. they were back by playoff time, but by that time it was too late to earn a spot anymore.
