Good you're not worried homer. Throwing rocks at a public place while drunk knowing the draft is coming up. Sorry but this is messed up. the kids got rocks for brains!!! It's a dumb decision to be sure, but its comparable to what Rosen did. Public intoxication: check Running from the cops: check Disorderly conduct: check I see no difference in the risk they took with Rosen as they did with Kirk. Worst Rosen got caught doing was sneaking a kiddie pool into his dorm room and arranging a neighbor’s garden gnomes into sexual positions...typical college kid stuff lol

It was a calculated risk by the cardinals. The crime was committed in AZ so he shouldn't miss much time away from practice. I'm not worried. Good you're not worried homer. Throwing rocks at a public place while drunk knowing the draft is coming up. Sorry but this is messed up. the kids got rocks for brains!!! New forum aris, how about letting the name calling go? And I will politely add please. Make a fresh start by letting the derogatory go bye-bye. Don't carry that "old forum" rep over here. And yes 3 months before the draft and chucking rocks at cars is juvenile to say the least.

Think there will be any game suspensions from this? Possible. Officers indicated possible cocaine use due to both suspects gurning.

You're right though I shouldn't have called him a homer. That's fair to be called out for. But since this is a new forum like you state maybe it's time for you to stop sounding like a relative of the Bidwills.

I will have to wait til I've weighed all the facts until i hand down a Ruling from my throne But obviously The Big wigs down at Cards ground zero did get all the facts and moved on him anyway.....so until i get that call at 2am on some fateful morning saying " come git yer boy,we just arrested him passed out at a stop sign in scooterville" ..I`m ok I`did things in my youth that make this look benign..but i wasn't in the public eye...not much One thing Certain...We aint in Kansas anymore and these aint Bill Sr`s white knights of the NFL round table........ The SB train is leaving the station.....Be on Board

I was about 10 yrs old and me and my buddies use to hide in the oleanders and lob oranges or use slingshots and throw or shoot passing cars. One nice new shiny car came by I threw my orange and he got hit by several objects being pretty pissed because he had a nice new shiny sports car. The tires screeched to a halt he spun around and parked by where we were and gave chase but he ran by me because i froze up standing there in them oleanders. He got so far and stopped could not see my buddies but when he turned around he must have seen the oleanders shaking from me came over and said come out and I reluctantly did. He took me home and I am just glad I wasn't forced to reveal my buddies when he took me home to see my dad. Needless to say my dad got my attention and my orange throwing days at cars were over. Scared me straight.

I completely understand this kind of behavior ... from 10 year olds! An adult acting this way is ridiculous. Let's hope he finally learns from this and matures as a result.

On the face of it, it is pretty juvenile incident and thing to be doing a month or two before the biggest moment of your career.
My questioning is this
1. The guy never saw them throw rocks at the vehicle he was in. He then claims he saw them throwing rocks at other vehicles, yet no other damage has been reported. 2. If he saw them do it why did he just sit and hide in his van? 3. One part of the report says there were plenty of stewards patrolling the car parks, but at the time Kirk and his friend were seen doing this there were none. Doesn't add up. 4. It was a big event, surely there is some CCTV footage somewhere. 5. The insinuation that Kirk was on something more than a few shandies doesn't add up. Surely at the police station he would have been dna'ed and if he did have cocaine in his system, I really can't see the Cardinals drafting him in the second round. He would have definitely slipped.

People are quick to sweep this under the rug.
but think about this. The biggest career event in your life is coming up. Everyone around you, agents and parents are telling you to make sure you don't do anything .
And what do you do? You do something . The NFL is littered with guys who mess up in college and then they get a million dollar contract and they start really messing up.
The hilarious part is new coach Wilks talking about not wanting to find out that players were screwing up in Scottsdale in the middle of the night. This AFTER he knew about the incident and drafted a guy drunk in Scottsdale throwing rocks at cars.
I was very high on this kid and supported the pick but now I'm not so sure.
