Yes, he needs to be fired but he is one among many problems. 2nd and 15 and the right play was called. It was a shotgun spread formation and DJ just gets beaten badly for the sack. That's not on McCoy. That is on Steve Keim for not providing the team with a better left tackle. DJ is not a true LT and never was one. He is a right tackle and we need a legitimate left tackle.

I've said it before...let Leftwich take over. The season is lost already so let Rosen and Leftwich develop some chemistry with each other. I don’t think Leftwich is the answer just a lesser bit of the sh@& sandwich we’re all forced to watch/eat. But at this point how much lower are the decision makers let this incompetence sink. Cause that’s what is incompetence I don't know if he is the answer or not. I do know McCoy is not the answer. We can't fire McCoy mid year and find his replacement during the year. If Leftwich doesn't show promise, replace him with a good OC.

Watching McCoys Offence is like watching paint dry or water boil...Actually a good hearty boiling pot of water is probably more entertaining...you can throw a crayon or an ant in there and get a little excitement

He really needs to be gone. Surprised he has lasted this long as his offense has not only been responsible for a 1-11 record in his past 12 games but they have played horrible. I mean if the 3rd and goal pass wasn’t bad enough the 4th and goal run right up the middle that hasn’t worked all season but I am to stubborn to call a sweep or outside run heck even the QB reception from Larry Fitzgerald would have been better than running it up the middle.

McCoy getting fired is gaining steam! He is doing everything in his power and now Larry Fitzgerald SR piping in and I have to imagine other media outlets are saying similar things. Management has to be thinking about it!

What gets me is how much Mike Jurecki defends this .........OC,mike used to do pretty unbiased reporting until he went to work for the Cards...he never blames McCoy..its always the player not performing

McCoy losing to Denver should get him fired. If not, it will be very sad to watch Wilks defend his OC at 1-6. Wilks' credibility is on the line too.

It will happen by the BYE week, if it doesn't then Wilks can follow him out of the door at the end of the season.

Did anyone catch the sideline shot of McCoy pouring over his "sheet" while a big play was going on and then he looked up and was all bewildered about what just happened on the field? The man is lost in his own little world.

The offense is 85% of the problem (defense vs. Run is #2) and McCoy needs to be held mostly responsible. I was interested this morning and looked up the defensive ranking of teams by Avg Yards per PLAY given up. The offense being so inept is causing the defense to be on the field WAY too much, getting tired and offensive coaches for the other team are going for it on 4th down because they don't fear the AZ offense will hurt them anyway (happened yesterday but AZ defense held). Anyway despite the problem of the defense being GASSED by the 2nd half due to the play discrepancy, AZ actually is 10th best for yards allowed per play. The 2 teams in this stat immediately ahead of the Cards are the Seahawks/49ers and they had the advantage of already playing the worst offense team in the NFL (our Cards). Of course Seattle stats would be worse if Card receivers could catch.

Jurecki is a sharp guy don't know why he thinks he can insult our intelligence as fans with this McCoy backing, he also defend the Chase Edmunds play against the Bears. All the other local guys (Bickley, Gambo, Somers, Bobby Mac) are all in agreement that McCoy needs to go though. Good to see the local media put a little heat on the team for a change.

With the fact that Leftwich coached under BA for a couple years, maybe he has some ideas that can be added to the playbook to prove things this year… Obviously you cannot change the whole play book, but I think it would be worth a shot

The man is lost in his own little world. Or more importantly not covering his mouth with the playsheet when he calls the play into the offense. ALL offensive coordinators cover themselves to prevent lipreading of the plays except one, OURS.
