A lot of people complain about kneeling or actions taken to gain awareness of this new movement spend an awful great deal of talking or complaining about it. Yikes. Athletes (or even actors/actresses to add on, etc) are not entertainment play things. While it is their job, profession, or career, it is not their lives. They are not just doing it just for themselves. The fact that it's 2020 and nearly 2021 and it's still an issue and people still want to complain about it means we have so far to go. History will not favor this stance, just as if you opposed the Civil Rights in the 60's or interracial marriage, or any of the things that seem so comical to be against at this day and age, it's going to be the same. You have a choice. Human life really isn't political. And sports and politics(and/or race) (or art/movies, etc and politics) in general has gone together since, well, like forever. Don't pretend now it's an inconvenience. Buckle up. Football is going to happen and so is "politics." It's so easy to not be offended by it, it's laughable. Hear the plight of your fellow man and then enjoy some football. It's actually really, really easy to do.
Football IS back. Which is exciting for all of us. You do not have to take their message to heart but it's a step in the right direction to not be offended by it. It is amazing we are able to start the season. Let's hope that it is a nice, fun, full season for everyone.
Its laughable to you..but not to me..i want to watch football...nothing else...lots of people agree..gonna hurt football..all sports bad..nuff said..enjoy the lib parade

He deleted my comment that I miss Paul Zimmerman who was a real analyst and sports writer and that he Cohn was biased. Cancel culture at work

That’s the real threat to this country is the “cancel culture”. Very scary if you ponder the deep Ramifications.

Thats ok after his second video I am no longer going to post any of his work at all here on the message board This is an SI analyst who covers the 49ers His dad does too, Maybe that is how he got the job who knows? There is no content just rants on his videos and attacks on the other team. He did not like the fact that I pointed out ex 49ers coach Chip Kelly was a great college coach who failed as an NFL coach. (He had been talking about Kingsbury being a bad college coach) I also said Kyle Shanahan will be remembered for the most devastating turn arounds in Super Bowl Losses TWICE NOW.

FLCF, Thank you for highlighting this guy's righteous rants at his site. There is an audience for that kind of toxic stuff, just not here, as you noted. About bias, that is part of my human experience, and part of humanity's living well every day and then dying in peace at the end. My bias' keep me safe from harm, put a roof over my head and food in the pantry, and ensure there is unlimited love in my heart for my family and friends. Bias is not a bad thing if used in a safe and respectful way. P

Whats up fellas. Niner Fan here, im not here to talk shh just excited that football is back. Great write up PutMeIn, i know that took sometime. OK lets hope the game dont get pushed back or rescheduled. Also read that they have some RV convention at yalls stadium thats why they just cant switch weeks. Cardinals played us really good last year and expect the same, will be a close game. Theres just so many question marks about how teams really look right now because of this whole offseason. Also have a ton or respect for Cardinals( esp. Fitz) and wish u guys the best of luck when you dont play niners.

SF fan cwebb75, welcome to the ARI Cards fan-run site. We don't sell stuff, cancel culture anyone, or curse much here. Real strict about all that. Say anything, but be respectful, act like ladies and gentlemen, and try to be honest almost always. No guns and no cheat'in allowed either. We do get excited about our Big Red team from time to time though ;-). Commraderie is sacrosanct. Appreciate your 49ers football ethusiasm, history, and NFCW insights always. What you say here stays here too. We won't out you (by name, profile, etc.) at NFL and 49er sites. You're safe on desert turf. I have a west coast friend whom I call a close friend for 50 years and he is a rabid SF 49er fan. I don't let his team affections get in the way of our friendship. On head to head game days, we just want a good game, no injuries, and good sportsmanship. Cardinals fans are scattered across the country from coast to coast. That happens when a team trades towns three times in it's 100 year history. The two heavy mods for this site just happen to live in Florida and Virginia, as example. Yep, many question marks ahead of this game tomorrow. Can the Cardinals compete in 2020? That's got to be answered by Kingsbury. The 49ers will not give him an inch for free, that is known. Your D is tops. Also known is that there are some distractions that we have not had to deal with before this season. I think that stuff will go away when the first hit occurs. The pros will focus. Me too. Take care, be safe!

#49ers Deebo Samuel goes on injured reserve, out at least 3 games
Called up from practice squad are C Hronnis Grasu and CB Dontae Johnson.
only positive i see from this move is that wr aiyuk must be feeling pretty good not to promote a wr from practice squad. promoting a center tho concerns me.

Thanks for the 49ers team update. Deebo's move to IR not surprising. Tough on him, I'm sure. The C and CB, likely just roster insurance moves. Next question will be do these two dress for tomorrow. We won't know until a few hours prior to k/o.

Center Ben Garland has been hurt too right? If he 100 %? As of a day ago, Garland was listed as limited to questionable. The Grasu recall today means the Oline coach is not confident Garland will last the entire day. Did Grasu get any snaps with the 1st team and JG this week? Having a new C on game day is not the best situation.
