I know this one sucked.. but 0-1 is too early to start calling for peoples jobs.
As for Keim, while yes.. he's part of the process.. overall he's just a part of it. He gets together with the coaches and then goes out and gets who they say they need, if a player fails in AZ it's usually not one persons fault, especially the GM.
This was a total team loss, failures across the board and that ultimately comes down to coaching. After months of preparation, this team was completely and utterly unprepared to take the field against an NFL team and that's not Keims fault. Lets also not forget, that Keim helps run the drafts and we did walk away with Josh Rosen this year so maybe calling for his head after 1 game is a bit premature?
I am as mad as anyone, but as hard as it is.. lets try and stay calm. If the trend we saw today continues into coming weeks then we will no doubt be talking really soon about who should be finding employment elsewhere. The performance we saw on the field today was obviously not acceptable, but that blame doesn't all land on one person.

DL, your recommendations seem reasonable to me...let the field managers figure out this team composition...if the team losing trend continues into Oct then there will be severe consequences, first on the field, and then maybe in the FO. At the end of the day, the players are responsible for the winning and loosing. Us old-timer Cards fans have been down this loser road countless times. Losing and griping are common behaviors among many fans. Team winning is a far harder job and not ours to do. The realist in me says take a deep breath and wait out the 2018 pain. This current team will not impress much and won't set W records. We can still have fun though (my glass is half full ;-) ).

We definitely need some quality LB's and we need a better scheme in the front 7. Chris Thompson made the D look bad I can only imagine what Gurley is gonna do to us.

It’s every body’s fault.. There were some bright spots.. lots of work to be done. Bright side for me is Smith being out and Wetzle taking over at RT. Hope it sticks and he gets to start next week.

I some what agree with you. But he wasn;t the one running or throwing the ball. And the defense as a whole couldn't stop Alabama. One of the top 10 worst games I have ever seen the Cards play. It seemed like they didn't even show up to play.
If they don't pick it up, it's going to be a looong season. Those talking heads will be smiling. Have to show 200 % improvement next game, or this is what we might have the rest of the year. You probably didn't watch any / many games from 2000-2003, I presume? Lots of games then when the Cardinals made one day stars out of a lot of guys. At least yesterday they got their asses kicked by a legit QB, RB and other players.

I would have rather moved up to draft Mahomes or Watson last year but I'd still rather have Rosen than Smith tied up through 2021 at the earliest. FYI Mahomes had 4 TD's yesterday. KC isn't missing AS. The move this offseason after completely being out maneuvered in last years draft was getting TB for peanuts and drafting a QB. That would have actually made the Glennon signing tolerable. This team is rebuilding for next year. Spending big money on either Smith or Bradford didn't make any sense.

Well in about 4 weeks if there is no turnaround in the teams play the Roar for Rosen will be deafening.....and Rosen will get thrown to the wolves.....our QBoF maybe fighting for his very football life if that happens.

Rosen will be the guy and as long as the protection is good we will see him this season. I'm pretty sure Bradford will still go down this season but I see his strategy now. Dont look downfield at all . Just hit the check down real fast.

This years team is all about getting Rosen up to speed and getting the new D installed and figuring out who stays and who goes when we have the cash next year to fix it. Yesterday was ugly and nobody wants to watch a season of games like that. If Wilks can turn into a top notch HC and Rosen is the real deal it will be worth the pain.
