I want to believe game 6 of the regular season but the Rams game is early in the season. There's a chance Bradford gets hurt playing in preseason too. I wouldn't be surprised if Rosen plays the whole season. He has a lot of work to do, a lot of growth needed but he might surprise despite a couple of poor practices. I would rather he gets it out of his system now and plays well when the games count. The double clutching is a mystery and I think that settles down as his reps increase, as he gets familiar with NFL defenses.

Barring a Bradford injury, I believe Rosen starts the first HOME game after the bye week vs. the Raiders. I think the coaches would want to start him at home and first one after a bye week where his practice reps could easily be ramped up.

If Bradford is healthy and the team is winning there is no reason to start Rosen until 2020. If Sam is healthy and the team is losing the pressure from both the team and the fans will force their hand. If Sam gets hurt and the OL is a disaster that's where management has to make a decision. I might go with Glennon in that scenario.
20 million dollars says there is no QB controversy unless the team stinks and the locker room fractures. That only happens if Sam is healthy and the team isn't in contention. There is absolutely no reason to play Sam Bradford on a none playoff team. He's here as a mercenary to win now not as a tutor to Rosen. We won't know if we are in the hunt for at least 6 games.

I wouldn’t throw him in there unless Bradford is injured AND the Oline looked very solid. We can’t afford to ruin the kid in year one.
Teach him up, allow the Oline to gel, install the new offense and defense, evaluate players and roster holes, then use the draft to upgrade the roster (especially Oline) and let the Rosen era begin.
I wouldn’t be opposed to getting him some reps in 4th quarters where we were way up or way down, so long as the playcalls did not put him in situations that will get him hit.

Actually I wouldn't want him to start until game 16. At which time we have the playoffs locked up and our seeding also. An end of the year game that doesn't mean anything. Best case to be able to start him. No pressure what so ever. Just go out there and play kid.

I know Rosen isn't currently ready and nobody wants to ruin him. But there's this felling that if he isn't ready this season he'll never be ready. I don't think that is true necessarily but the fact remains, if Bradford is your quarterback, you better be ready if you're next man up.

biggs I think he is here to tutor. he's getting very well paid and vegas has our odds as even worse than clevlands, so its not to win now. Bradford will start if healthy, if not healthy he will act as a mentor. the team wants to give rosen the chance to learn the easy way not the hard way. we see how the hard way works. kapernic, linehart, rg3, etc....as soon as defenses make adjustments they are a deer in the headlights and never recover. now look at the ones that were given bench time, to learn while not running for their lives. Rodgers, brady, jimmy g,.... the results are much better. Bradford was brought in to give the cards time to find and develop a starter when they wanted to, not when they were forced to. if the cards were going to throw the new qb to the wolves there was no reason to give Bradford all that money, they could have bought a better line to help keep the wolves at bay with it.

In 2008 prior to the season beginning the Az Cardinals odds of winning the SB were over 40 to 1. A friend wagered $20. and gifted me the ticket. I came >l l< that close to winning over $800.00. Possibly that's the reason I still don't believe he had both feet down. hahaha
