biggs I think he is here to tutor. he's getting very well paid and vegas has our odds as even worse than clevlands, so its not to win now. Bradford will start if healthy, if not healthy he will act as a mentor. the team wants to give rosen the chance to learn the easy way not the hard way. we see how the hard way works. kapernic, linehart, rg3, etc....as soon as defenses make adjustments they are a deer in the headlights and never recover. now look at the ones that were given bench time, to learn while not running for their lives. Rodgers, brady, jimmy g,.... the results are much better. Bradford was brought in to give the cards time to find and develop a starter when they wanted to, not when they were forced to. if the cards were going to throw the new qb to the wolves there was no reason to give Bradford all that money, they could have bought a better line to help keep the wolves at bay with it. We didn't even know if we were in position to get a QB before the draft. The Bradford signing was pure desperation.

we knew we were going to try. otherwise we wouldn't have spent the money on Bradford for a short term deal. worst case we weren't going to get a qb this draft and were going to totally sick this year which gives us a high draft next year to grab one, that's why the 2nd year option also paid very well if exercised. we knew we had a good chance, if you look at the early mock drafts some had us getting mayfeild. we lucked into rosen because mistakes were made above us. we knew we were going to get a qb in the draft, we just didn't know who. we knew if it was a flop we would try again next year. mayfeild who was projected to fall to use would have been even more of a project, needed Bradford even more.
we are not going to win the superbowl this year. in the nfl you try to win big or lose big. winning big will lead ring chasing free agents to sign with you to get the ring. losing will move you up in the draft. being in the middle denys you that chance at a difference maker thru free agency or the draft. the cards have spent plenty of time there. Bradford is to buy time, not to win now but in the future. we might not have known rosen was going to be behind center eventually but we knew somebody was going to be, and we needed time to get that somebody and get them ready. jimmy g was taken out of the market by frisco so we needed some other long term winner. brady and Rodgers are both staying put, eli aint peyton and all 3 are old which would just delay us getting to where we are now even if any of them were available. we would still need somebody for the near future. Bradford is for between now and the near future. like I said somebody has to be behind center. if you have to hire a temp and can it might as well be a temp who can train a permanent employee, no mater who that employee is going to be. i'm a bit surprised they didn't hire warner to be a mentor but he was planning to have the Monday night gig and was probably unavalible at the time so they went with plan b I think. plan Bradford is the temp and mentor in one.

I am in agreement with several people here. As long as Bradford is healthy and playing well, there is simply no reason to put Rosen in there. We paid the dam guy a lot of money, if he is playing well, let him earn it......And as some have pointed out. If Bradford gets injured because of poor play by the OL, I'm not so sure it would be a good idea to put him in under those circumstances.
He could get injured, or he could lose his confidence.
Granted, there is only anecdotal evidence, but no QB has ever suffered by sitting out his first year. Lets not rush things.
Let Bradford earn his salary and ride him until we can't.

Week 3, which is after the Rams hurt Bradford Greg Williams doesn't coach the Ram's D any more. Known players that try to hurt players are not on the Ram's team any more either. The current Rams team is not the same as the 2015 and 2016 Rams.

Is Suh the player he used to be? My reference to ram def. players that tried to hurt other NFCW players does not include Suh. Sims, Ogletree, Quinn and a couple of others were Greg Williams' disciples.
And yes, I know about the statement from Suh about Bradford. I just don't put as much stock into it that others may. Also every time the Cards have played against Suh he has been a non factor. Miami 2016 iirc he did not have a single sack against our banged up O-line.
