www.azcardinals.com/news/cardinals-bring-back-cap-capiFan favorite DE from last preseason that did not make final cut but played for Bills and Giants last year getting another chance in AZ. Bryson Albright is being placed on Injured/waived status to make room. Good luck Capi!

I remember he was fun to watch. Good luck to him.
I like that they are still looking for players. Whether it's to get more practice squad guys or starter types. Even without DUI Keim, they're still churning the roster.

Yep. I was surprised they let him go last time around.
Also beginning to sense that the Cards are not suffering at all without Keim ...

WOOO!
Never knew why we cut him. I forget what no-contributing bums got his spot instead, but they were no-contributing bums.
Cap Capi doesnt have fans for no reason. You think we like his dumb name? No. He was a very good player in PS and it was a travesty we cut him. Coaches claim the best guys earn rosters spots. we'll see.

I'm very happy to hear this. I was one of those that was on the Capi bandwagon and was disappointed when he got cut last year. Here is a article from last year concerning him.... under the radarJust a couple of quotes from the article.... "Capi is having the best preseason of his NFL career and is, arguably, having the best preseason among all Cardinals." "Capi leads the team with 15 quarterback pressures and is coming off a weekend where he had 1.5 sacks."

I think as time goes on we will get some de facto insights about the BA regime in regards to roster decisions. Even though we have the same front office, the new coaching staff has already given a much different type of feeling in this team.

I think his major faults was loyalty and stubbornness. We may find some guys that BA would never give a chance to.

Let’s keep in mind two other teams have cut him since the Cards cut him last preseason. That is two other regimes that were willing to let him go as well.

They brought this guy back to be a DE, correct?

That's what the Cards' site roster says. Do you suppose they have concerns about another DE - like . . .
V Dora, B Mayowa, A Moats, J Smith, S Anau, or maybe Marcus Golden's recovery?
Probably just another option, but one never knows.

Couldn't understand why they cut him last year. He was one of the better players in camp. Not so sure he fits this year. Guy looks like a 3/4 LB not a DE. He is a guy I think would fit better in a 3/4 scheme. Not so sure about where he fits in a 4/3. Little light to be a DE in a 4/3, and I'm not so sure he has what it takes to be a LB in a 4/3.
As a lot of you guys stated. We will see who is still around when camp is over that were BA's guys.
