Capi has not proven he can set the edge against the run and that has been a problem.
We kept Kareem Martin around and used Reddick as edge rusher. I would think on 3rd downs Capi is fine. Again, two teams have cut him since Cards did, there are reasons behind it.
Beating guys that wont be in the league for sacks is one thing, having true impact in NFL game is another. I’m a fan, but does it translate, why does he keep getting cut??

if nothing else I think capi has earned some first team reps in remainder of preseason so cards can make an informed decision about him...who the heck is rohan Davey?

Needs to be able to set the edge against the run. If Capi can show improvement in this area of play (run defense) he has a shot, imho. |

If Capi can not contain the run any better than what he has shown to date he will get cut again imho. Badly out of position multiple times on run plays by the Saints last night. Several big runs late game because he went inside trying to get to QB instead of holding the edge. Made several back up Saint RBs look too good.
