Probably smart to hold Gresham out until week 2 to make sure he's ready.
We really need one of Pierre or Diche to be ready.

Wilks said he thinks both Pierre and Nk will be ready along with Peters come tomorrow.

Honestly, If and it's a HUGE "if," the O-line can keep Bradford upright, I look for the Cards to win this one going away. I loved the Bradford acquisition earlier this year and pure talent wise, I believe he's better than Cousins, Keenam and Alex Smith. I know the Card's Brass was in on signing Cousins but I, for one, am glad they didn't since Keim and the boys were able to draft Rosen. Go Cards! Be nice to wake up on a Monday knowing the Big Red is 1-0.

Rim,
Yep, saw the Cards @ -1 and 44 pts total earlier today. Wow. Just like past years, Cards get no love from US bettors. I think 44 total is high, by 5-6, so I'd bet against all over 44 money.

Until Wilks wins, we can't argue against these odds. He's starting at 0-0.

I think I could argue a case for not ranking the Cardinals near dead last in the NFL. We all know about what Vegas thinks the odds are of the Cardinals making the playoffs/superbowl when compared to the other 31 teams (dead last), but this weeks barrage of fantasy QB rankings gave me new reasons to be rankled. In the ESPN aggregate (average of six "experts"), Sam Bradford is predicted to come in 2nd from the bottom (tied with Ryan Fitzpatrick and ahead of Sam Darnold vs. The Saints). SportingNews has him 3rd from last, ahead of Ryan Fitzpatrick and Nathan Peterman. Pro Football Weekly places Sam Bradford... you guessed it, dead last.
A big part of fantasy predictions are based on that week's opponent - are the Redskins considered so formidable that no QB stands a chance? Doubtful. Is it that they don't expect Sam to stay standing for even one game? Possibly. Either way, I should stop writing this post before the expletives start flying.

One thing we should all keep in mind. This is a brand new coach and staff, and our roster has had a big turnover. We are not going to be hitting all cylinders for a few games. It will take time for our team/coaches to gel into a competent team. I'm not saying that will actually happen, but if it does, it won't be in game one.....give it time. Whatever happens tomorrow, I just want us to look like we know what we are doing.
I have high hopes for this new regime. I hope they don't prove me wrong.
Go Cardinals

Odds makers, shmod makers, getting ready to rumble with Dividend and Larry! More goal line scrums from the O-line with Dividend in tow. Throw in some SB to Fitz passes for Icing and a TD, and a new song will be sung in AZ! Go Cards!

on the nfl network show "pick'em" the talking heads take turns taking a teams helmet off a shelf and commenting on their upcoming game...they dropped the cards helmet on the floor this week while predicting a loss...
cards/skins will probably be close...after watching falcons/eagles its apparent that reduced playing time for starters in preseason will have an effect on early part of season...cards have new coaches and a lot of new players-cards missed assignments and penalties-or lack of-will decide this game imho.

I am looking for it to be a close game however Cards coming out on top in the end. I think there are few to none so called “experts” giving us a chance in the game. I feel that Washington throws everything at covering Fitzgerald and stopping Johnson but it opens up opportunity for Seal-Jones. Don’t be surprised if he has a big game.

Nobody played their starters very much this pre-season. Both teams have a new QB. I hate both QB's for the same reason but Smith has been much more productive the last few years than Bradford when both are on the field. Both teams want to run the ball. I think we have a big edge with DJ running behind Iupati. Smith can break contain and get yards with his feet, edge for the Skins. The big question for us is who steps up at WR? Outside of Fitz there isn't a proven NFL producer in the group, including Seals-Jones. We need at least one possibly two guys to step up. Of course if we get turnovers it completely tilts the field in our favor. I can't wait to see Rosen kill them in the second half.

Edit: FitzPat throws Bomb to Desean Jackson for tying score. Could be a high scoring game.
EDIT2: TB 14 NO 10 after Fitzp 3 yrd run for TD. Still 2 minutes to go in 1st Qtr.
