Best is Larry Wilson. He rewrote how a safety was used back then and onto this day.
Davis actually turned out to be a pretty good guard for the hated Cowgirls. He was misused by the Cards as a LT.

The best 1st round pick is Larry and in my opinion the worst was Levi Brown with the 5th pick.
Adrian Peterson was picked later by the Vikings as were Patrick Willis and Marshawn Lynch.
I still have visions of Levi Brown whiffing and not blocking Lamar Woodley on the fumble that ended the Super Bowl !

I agree with you on Levi Brown being the worst pick, not just because we missed out on Adrian Peterson but because of how bad Levi Brown was. I always joked with friends that Levi Brown was so bad ,that we should just send out 4 blockers on every snap ,that way the QB KNOWS he has no one protecting his blindside and has to get rid of the ball.

The best Is Fitz. The worst was Andre Wadsworth. The Cards rejected many offers from teams wanting to move up to get him. The best rookie UDFA signing after the draft was Jim Hart.

Best is Fitz. Worst is L. Davis Many worse than L. Davis, How about Earnest Dye, Leonard Davis " The Turnstile", Andre Wadsworth, Thomas Knight, Wendall Bryant, Levi Brown, ( awful ) Bryant Johnson, Johathan Cooper ( definately worse ). Probably a few more but just cant think of them off the top of my head.

You guys mention real busts but all these guys you have mentioned are not even close to the worst picks of the PRE-ARIZONA Cardinals.
1. Clyde Duncan WR Tennessee Total Contribution: 4 receptions 39 yards projected 3rd RD at best. Sadly Duncan passed away in 2015
2. Steve Pisarkiewicz QB Missouri Total Contribution: 64 comp 143 Atts 804 Yards 3 TDS 7 INTS He was so bad rated a projected 3RD pick. Bill Bidwill overruled Don Coryell who wanted Robin Cole LB.
3. Larry Stegent RB Texas A&M RB Total Contribution 1 reception 12 yards 1 KR 12 yards It wasn't Stegent fault as he tore up his knee before his first season started. Back then most seriously injured knees were done.
4. King Hill QB RICE He was the number 1 overall pick in 1958 A QBOF BUST!
Total Contribution with the Cardinals 104 comp 246 att. 1245 yards 8 TDs 20 INTs

Would have to agree with Fitz of course but, I haven't seen anyone mention M. Leinart. It was more my hopes I guess and the sad reality of it just not working out. I really thought we feel into some good luck getting him.

I really thought we feel into some good luck getting him. Most people, myself included, blame the failure of Leinart on Whiz not handling the QB situation properly after Warner's retirement. Leinart was not used to competition and was used to being given his job, whether that was as a backup for Warner or the starter through high school and college. Even still, Leinart was the one who couldn't adjust and adapt, which gave DoA the starting job. So he's definitely top 5 1st round busts here in AZ. I'm just glad we are able to say Patrick Peterson is probably the top 2 pick instead of Blaine Gabbert being the number 1 worst pick at that same spot.
