The big game is coming up. Vote on who is going to win it all...or on whoever you want to win.

Personally, this was the most boring outcome for the final game. I was really hoping that Detroit got a chance to go to their first SB. Its easy to say that they'll be back next year, but history proves that this is a very difficult task.
The 49ers seem to be the team of destiny. That freak helmet catch last week was...outlandish.
49ers 27 Chiefs 24
Purdy wins via TD

I don't know. I really don't want either of them to win. The Chiefs are starting to remind me of the Patriots....always wining, that gets old.
The 49's, well it's the 49's. Don't want them to win either. The only caveat to them winning would be they draft last. I guess that's something.
As to who I think will win....the Chiefs. Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes...been there done that....they both know how to win when it counts.

I have put a coin on KC, +7. That's all I can say.

San Fran should come out on top if its a fair game. They have to much talent.
San Fran - 35
KC - 31 .

KC's defense is way better than SF's defense. That alone is not enough to win the SB. The real difference is the QBs.
SF carries their QB. He's average talent on a very good offensive team. KC's QB is Mr. Cool. He makes the offense superior.

If McCaffery has 25+ touches = SF win but anything less than this, Chiefs win.
NOTE: Everyone wants to talk about the Chiefs run against good teams on the road ... just keep in mind the Chiefs played the Dolphins who had 7 starters OUT for the game and played the game in temps 50 degrees LESS vs. a team who never wins when it is even 40 degrees or below. Bills were down 8 starters for their game vs. the Chiefs and Bills WR's dropped about 100 yds of passes.
Then they played the Ravens who had 2 of the biggest personal foul penalties in playoff history which created a change in score of 10-13 pts in a game where only 27 points were scored TOTAL. We can have a discussion on how Kelce twice early in the game AFTER the whistle initiated shoves vs. MULTIPLE players of the Ravens each time ... this prompted the Van Noy very critical personal foul penalty which ultimately led to a Chiefs scoring drive. Also the Ravens OC only running the ball 5 times after Qtr. #1 is just crazy -- will Shanahan learn this lesson ... run the ball behind the FB, Kittle and Trent Williams with McCaffery OFTEN !!

2/7: I heard an ESPN analyst defending his reasoning that the 49ers will win on Sunday. He said (paraphrasing), "Well, it's been a long time since SF won the SB. And KC cheats. That's why I pick SF." The guy was a total homer. ESPN should be embarrassed.

Most Key player matchup of the game is Chiefs RT Jawaan Taylor vs. Nick Bosa/Refs: - Chiefs RT Jawaan Taylor started the season with 25 illegal procedure penalties vs. the Lions that weren't called -- even the former Ref Bandino agrees with this as Taylor pass-set each time during that game was too far off the line of scrimmage... yet it was never called.
- Last game vs. Ravens -- John Harbaugh calls over the referee to complain how the afore-mentioned Jawaan Taylor had a blatant hold on Van Noy of the Ravens. I re-watched much of this game and so clearly you can see Harbaugh telling the ref - "He is holding every (da**n) time." The play that incensed Harbaugh was Taylor putting a bear hug on Van Noy when the latter tried to do a spin move. ... Chiefs got a key first down on the play.
- I will be looking how the Refs treat this matchup because if RT Taylor avoids being penalized in the first quarter and a half ... then you know that "Roger G" doesn't want to disappoint Taylor S and her fans.
- Early in the week, TaylorS found out that her fans accounted for $360 MILLION EXTRA revenue for the NFL since her and Travis became a thing. Her representatives asked the League to pay for her private plane trip to the game from her Tokyo concert AND the $2.5M suite rental at the game. HMMM ... apparently it is tough to be a billionaire, guess times are tough.

Chiefs 20 SF 18. Won't watch any of the halftime show. Won't watch any of the pregame show either.

All year long it looked like the 49ers and the Ravens were the best teams destined to play for the Lombardi. But the Ravens have been ousted and the 49ers have not past the “eye” test in their (2) playoff wins…both of which should have been loses. In these games…I focus on the Match-Ups of QB’s, Head Coaches, and Coordinators…for the “edge” in the game. To me…KC possess the edge at QB and Defensive Coordinator. Both Head Coaches are solid…Shanahan is where Reid was years ago trying to get over the “hump” of winning a Super Bowl. But both are brilliant offensive minds. But…to me…this game turns on the match-ups of QB’s vs Defensive Coordinators…and I just can’t see Wilkes out game planning Mahomes like I see Spags being able to game plan against Purdy…and that’s the “edge” to me. Spags is having a GREAT year as DC. His game planning has been spot on in the playoffs. His in-game adjustments are well documented. His blitz packages have been timely called and well schemed. When looking at the 49ers juggernaut of talent this year…I said to myself…the only thing that is going to stop them is Wilkes as their DC and going up against someone who exploits Purdy into being more…much more…then a game manager…and having to carry the 49ers on his back to the Championship. Well…this is the Match-Up to do it. Mahomes is Wilkes worst nightmare…and I believe Spags this year is Purdy’s…and that’s the real difference in this game.
KC 27 49ers 21
KC picks Purdy off (2) times…killing would be point drives…the final one as Purdy tries to lead the 49ers on a late 4th quarter winning drive with a patented Spags blitz that causes the turnover.
