TC, Thanks for the YT link. This YT film is inspiring and maybe worth saving and showing to the team prior to games next year. The new guys will have something to talk about with the old guys that stuck it to the Eagles when they might have thought a 3-win team would lay down for an 11-win team. EZ

Kyler deserves credit for his work here. This was an offense clicking against a team that really needed a win. Yea Eagles have struggled but doesn't diminish the credit we need to give to coaching staff and Kyler and Co. The Eagles though sure look like a dysfunctional group. wow. Fletcher Cox is normally a beast, maybe he's done I don't know We've known Kyler will be the man moving forward, to see him play like this is important. Still have a high draft pick. Maybe the best LT in the draft? With this spectacular win over the playoffs-bound Eagles, QB Murray probably convinced the last unsure person in the Cardinals FO that QB Murray is worth keeping another year. Or, QB Murray convinced everyone that his trade value is skyhigh and probably untouchable in 2024. We know QB Murray has the capability to play this kind of football every week. Everything worked out for him on Sunday. I want 17 more games like this in 2024.

With doubling up TOP against the Eagles the defense still gave up 24 points. The defense will determine the 2024 success. The offense and the OL in particular need to be kept together as much as possible, the way the OL dominated should give the fans hope in 2024. RB unit is solid, TE group is young and have potential to grow in the future. Dortch, Wilson and Moore need some help. The defense needs, IDL, ILB, CB and the way Budda is playing more depth at S. Williams and Thompson are a great slot combo and Thompson is the best S on the roster. Even OLB could use another player. I agree all the needs can't be done in one draft, but as per capital spent and lack of play-makers the defense needs extra attention. The better the defense performs the less K1 has to do and the OL can protect the defense and K1 if allowed to run block more than pass-pro.

The 31 points yielded by the D during the total TOP (39:39 to 20:21) is a huge red flag. If the Eagles had the ball the full 60 minutes, their offense would have scored 93 points against the Cardinals defense. A 50/50 split in TOP would yield 46.5 points.
MO has to prioritize the D during the next offseason. Take MHJ with pick #4 and then go all D with the next 10-12 picks.

There is a chance the Cards can drop to the 6th or 7th pick, depending on next week's results. Even if MHJ isn't available ( he is my most wanted pick), Monti can trade down and maybe get an IDL mid 1st round and even trade-down with Texan's pick. I am a believer in a team isn't dependent on one player. Cards may be better served with Monti's skills to package more future picks and get one mid 1st round and a late 1st or additional 2nd round through trade-downs and increase the number of top 100 picks. One WR who is currently a 4th to 5th rounder, but will rise maybe into the second is Brenden Rice who even in the 2nd round would allow less investment in him and free more draft capital into the future and more top 100 picks in 2024 draft. Brenden played HS ball and track in AZ and is a West-Coast player with a great pedigree and a solid outside WR. Goal is to build depth and raise the floor of the roster. I would like to see 2 WRs drafted and I could see Brown re-signed on a prove-it contract and Dortch given a 3 year contract or both gone in 2024. WR is a premium position and like OL better be addressed about every draft class. Many of the successful teams pick DL with top pick. Cards are in need to do this for a few years. JG can get more out of lower picked DBs and LBs. Good DL players are a rare find.

MO has to prioritize the D during the next offseason. Take MHJ with pick #4 and then go all D with the next 10-12 picks. Our DL is pretty decimated and don't forget that 7 points came from a pick 6 but I tend to agree that we need to shore up our DL. The Eagles started the 3rd quarter gashing us for huge yards running the ball and that was concerning. Of course having two rookie corners in didn't help either but hey, at least they are getting the game time experience. Honestly I think it's wide receivers first followed by DL then CB then OL. We really need a WR1 and some solid depth on both lines with a solid CB1.

I don't see how anyone can marginalize Kyler as not being credited as a part of why we won this game. That argument to me suggests that it wouldn't have mattered had Tune been the starting QB against the Eagles and I find that very hard to believe. I did not say he was not part of it, he played a good game. They won because of the oline and run game first and foremost. Without that he does not have the success he had. He was a part of it for sure. I really don't mean to belabor the point but it still sounds like you're contradicting your argument where Kyler is concerned regarding this game. I'll just leave it at that.

Here are a couple of remarkable tidbits after this game - - Cardinals NEVER punted -- 3rd time in the ENTIRE history of the franchise and 1st time in 17 years !!
- Cardinals have put 200 yds+ rushing against the vaunted defenses of the Cowboys, Steelers and Eagles.
- Cardinals rushing game ranks SECOND in the NFL on YPC.
- Cardinals beat the NFC champions being without their top 4 DL's and on their 3rd MIKE LB AND waived supposedly their best CB from last year earlier in the week. I like the fact that this new regime will cut/waive players (when it is inevitable) to send a message to the team as the Cards Defense came out lethargic in the Bears game getting down 21-0 early but were ready to play this week.
- Paul Calvisi who was just on 98.7 and who is positioned behind the Cardinal's bench the entire game stated the Pick 6 was actually Michael Wilson's fault. I am glad KM1 didn't acknowledge that at any time AND even better went back to him for the tying TD making it 28-28.
Calvisi also pointed out that on the TD to M. Wilson that the Card coaches knew the Eagles were going to bring Six and they purposely let Fletcher Cox be a "free-runner" do to his age and being the slowest of the pass rushers ... KM1 back pedaled a little bit and let the pass go for the TD.

How many folks have considered that the offense did better last weekend because our coaching staff was overly familiar with the defense they were playing, strengths and weaknesses? I once recall playing against a team 'I used to play for' where I literally called out the offenses audibles as they made them. By the 4th quarter my defensive teammates were laughing that I was calling out the offense running screen plays before they hiked the ball. And every time I was right. To the point the opposing QB started having to call time outs trying to figure out how I knew their calls.
Let's be happy with last week's win without reading too much into it yet. If we roll over Seattle the same way then we can all get a bit more excited.

That punt stat is a shocker. to me. Over a Cardinals thousand games played, and just the 3rd time in team history no punts. You didn't say, but I assume the game 17 years ago also was won by ARZ. Was it against PHI? That would be phenomenal. That ARZ is ranked 2nd in the NFL in the run game probably shocks everyone but Pete Carroll. He'll be ready on Sunday. The maturing of Murray means not blaming teammates for errors no matter who looked or ran the wrong way. The QB needs to communicate better. Get WR's attention.

It shows what we can do with decent offensive line play. We can run and we can pass. kM can see the field when he's not running for his life immediately after the snap.
