For the Cards and the Houston's pick as I run the playoff predictor, the COLTS at home must beat the Texans or else the latter looks to make the playoffs causing the pick to keep sliding into the 20's.

Have you checked out how tall Joe Alt is? He's 6ft 8 I think. Kyler can't see over him. Unless I saw a typo Kyler can’t see over guys who are 6’3”, so not sure it matters. Need a guy who can play, but I understand your point. Maybe QB’s go 1-3 and MHJ is still there at 4. All the top tackles are 6’-6” to 6”-8”. It’s interior Oline where height can really make a difference for site lines for Kyler. I take height into consideration for C and G for us, but tackle not so much. Question would be do we go with more polished but less nasty Alt, or less polished but higher ceiling Fashanu?

Today is thanks to Oline and run game, not Kyler.**He is playing a good game though, probably his best. To the contrary. Better play from the OL has been the argument for sticking with Kyler, meaning he would then perform better at QB. Appears to me this game gave credibility to that argument. And whatever the outcome might be for the final game next week......I think this game alone solidifies Kyler for next season and makes clear what the priorities should be come draft day during our rebuild. I just can't see the Cardinals starting over at great financial expense for QB after a game like this. On another note, I've been pleading for more Gregg Dortch all season. The man is a clutch receiver, what more does he have to prove. Let Rondale run back the punts and kick offs. Wouldn't that same logic mean we don't need as big an upgrade at WR? Or mean our OL isn't as bad as some keep claiming? You know what they say about small sample sizes. If we see similar result in Seattle there's more room for optimism

I believe they were always sticking with Kyler and while I am not his biggest fan, I am okay with that. I want to build a strong team to the point you can plug in other QB’s and succeed. See Niners and Browns. I think this shows Kyler needs a strong run game to have success. Kyler played a great game and did not lose it, but the oline and run game is why they won this game. Everyone has been wanting more Dortch for over two years.

Kyler was 13 for 14 in 2nd half ... also, the Cards NEVER punted.

Kyler's stats were pretty close to what he's been doing last few weeks. He only hit 232 yards and had a pick 6. The ONLY big difference were the TDs, one which was of course phenomenal 1 handed grab by Connor. Our total offensive production was awesome, and our WRs looked strong, but it wasn't a killer air attack. Kyler looked more comfortable. No doubt about it. But the Eagles defense has been awful for 5 weeks straight. So it's not like we put on a passing clinic against a bad defense. Let's be happy for the win but not make it into something it's not. We agree on Dortch. I've been trying to point him out for weeks to those who say Kyler gets no support The best sign from Kyler today was he didn't start hot then fold.

I love the fact that the Waiver Wire this year, Monti brought in Elijah Higgins TE , Michael Carter RB & Depth DL in Roy Lopez who all will be on the 53 man roster next year and with a cap # barely over $1M for each player. So with a healthy KM1 in same offense and OC with OTA's and Training Camp plus at least 6 of the top 84 players in one of the deepest drafts ... Cardinal fans have 2024 to look forward for drastic improvement.

What a pointless win. You can say goodbye to MHJ now. You can say goodbye to trading with NE for a bunch of picks. Well done in screwing us again you little midget I feel the same way. This might harm our future. I hate when teams win games that ruin their draft position. Happy for Gannon and the team. Hope we can still get MHJ. Pats play the Jets next week, we need the Pats to win

You need to reference forum rules. Particularly rule 5. Please refrain from using socially offensive terminology. Not sure how folks use this in Australia...not so nice here. Not sure how you do things over there but we leave religious crap out of sports. And we’re also not scared of words over here. Over here in the US of A , everything is offensive...

Either the Eagles are terrible, and let's face it, they've looked that way 5 weeks in a row now. OR our offensive line and WR corp isn't as bad as most board members think. It's pretty clear that Defense is our big priority right now. The running game has been good against the some pretty decent run defenses all year.

RB is one of few spots that is strong with Connor, but still needs a good 1-2 punch. I just cant believe the Cardinals beat the Eagles. Yes, Eagles have been having issues last few weeks, but I think it shows the Cardinals team has never given up this year. A good sign with the rebuild IMO

I also want to point out that the Cardinals can still have success with Kyler as the QB. So as I mentioned in other posts, I believe there is no rush to finding a new QB. Keep Kyler around for the next couple of years until his contract is more team friendly, then as someone else said, be in a position where they can plug in a new QB and run with it. But while they are waiting for the contract to be team friendly, use the resources to build around him and be ready to go when its time.
