What's this guy's record? How many points did he put up in the second half? Did he show some signs sure he also showed he's not legit. The cowboy game was a great game got garbage points against the Ravens. Our defense has given us plenty of chances to win games he has been a serviceable back up in the first half and a complete piece of trash in the second half and that's just a fact. The defense was worse then the offense. 2nd half woes came from both sides of the ball.

I just found this article and short video about the trade. Cardinals Speak on Joshua Dobbs TradeA quote from JG... "Came in, battled, he's an ultimate pro. What he did for us and our team, can't thank him enough. Josh is excited to go to Minnesota and go play. We're excited for him. Basically now how it fits to our team, you guys kinda know the plan. We're sorting through getting another guy in here because I like to have three [quarterbacks]. That'll come over the next couple of days."The part about having 3 QB's and bringing in someone else caught me by surprise. Looks like there will be even more news to come. Anyone want to take a guess in who that 3rd guy might be?

I don't get it, I just don't. He played well for us as. As I type I'm sitting here watching NFL Network listening to David Carr praising the guy and how he believes Dobbs is gonna help keep the momentum going for the Vikings......and we had him. I wish him well stepping into a situation that gives him a shot at postseason while I continue to scratch my head. We had him for 9 more games, where he would likely ride the bench. We paid him $666,667 for his eight games of service. Did you want to give him another contract? People think he’s starter, QB1 quality and he was going to sign for vet minimum to be QB2 or QB3 with us? Well now we'll never know. Meanwhile I don't know what people you are referencing who believed he was a starter, but I never viewed him as such. To me he was insurance, especially if (heaven forbid) Kyler gets injured again.

If he doesn’t get hurt, he may well start 17 games this season and might even go to the playoffs. That’s an NFL starting QB. Only 32 of them in the world at any given time.

So basically we (arguably) did Minnesota a favor I think 'good for all parties'; good for the Vikings (it gives them breathing space with their QB situation), good for Joshua Dobbs (a further opportunity to play as a starter in the NFL and, if successful, earn a lucrative contract at the end of the season) and also for the Cardinals (who are presumably comfortable going forward with Murray, Tune and A N Other).

Driskel is the only unsigned QB that makes sense coming to ARZ this week.

LG Ezra Cleveland of the Vikes was sent to Jaguars for only a 6th. Cleveland is a FA but LG is a huge hole for this offense and to keep KM1 upright -- not sure why Monti didn't just trade Dobbs for Ezra Cleveland and a low 7th from MN. Would be a similar overall trade package and would help the Cards immediately. I was on Ezra Cleveland 3 weeks ago when discussing which payers Monti should spend FA $$ on - WalterFootball gave the Jags and A+ on this trade and the Vikings a "D." Not really sure why Monti just didn't trade Dobbs for Ezra Cleveland straight-up From WF: Jaguars acquire G Ezra Cleveland from Vikings for 2024 6th-round pick
I missed this trade from Tuesday, as it was buried within the other deals. However, it’s a significant one, as the Jaguars were able to obtain a much-needed offensive line boost for pennies on the dollar. Ezra Cleveland is a talented blocker. He excels in both pass protection and run blocking. He’s also just 25, so there’s a lot of room for growth. Getting him for just a sixth-round pick to boost Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne’s blocking was a major steal. The Jaguars won this trade by a mile. I don’t know why the Vikings gave away such a talented, young blocker for next-to nothing. Grade for Jaguars – A+ Grade for Vikings – D This missed opportunity along with the RB D'Andre Swift trade pulled off by the Eagles are the two trades which happened for peanuts that I really wish Monti would have pulled off as LG and RB are 2 spots of need. Talented players who are proven in the NFL and are only age 25 -- need to pull the trigger on these.

Although Cleveland could be moved with a trade in 2024 or they have insight on him as being close with the Vikings staff. The Texan 1st is trending to put Cards in position for a generational guard and may be the best OL for Cards if Paris is moved to LT and he and an old teammate could play next to each other. I genuinely believe the Cards staff like the pass blocking of Demarcado and Connor to return give them the RB depth they desire. If Cards end up with the first pick, they could get WR Harrison, CB Kool Aid and G Donovan Jackson. Three of the best at their positions in the draft. That would be a 1st round better than most team’s entire draft. The 2023 Lions draft to get a starting DB, RB, MLB and TE set the bar high for teams in 2024.

On the bright side, with Connor on IR for several weeks, ARZ fans are finally seeing what Demarcado can do as the #1RB, and frankly, I like what I'm seeing out of this young man. He really ran well against the Ravens #2 ranked D and caused their DL to have fits last week. Paring Connor and Demarcado might be the smash-mouth RB duo we've sought for years. We'll know the answer when Connor comes off IR any day.

The defense is not very good period. You can believe whatever you want but there's not a defense in the world that can stay on the field the entire time and do their job. Looking at time of possession shows you how long the defense was on the field this argument isn't supported by the facts. Arizona was near 50% time of possession this season. Against 1. Baltimore 30:21 2. Seattle 30:32 3. Rams 30:30 4. Cincy 21:50 5. 49's 29:14 6. Cowboys 25:27 7. Giants 30:37 8. Washington 28:36
