CJ Stroud is going to beat Trevor Lawrence. Catastrophic. 😤 Stroud having a good day is what 1st round draft pick QBs do once in a while. By the way, in my book of wisdom, a catastrophe is Murray destroying his right knee without anyone touching him! Today's Texans win doesn't mean crap with 14 games to go. Recommend everybody take a big chill-pill. Heck, the Cardinals might also win today. That's also not a catastrophe.

CJ Stroud is going to beat Trevor Lawrence. Catastrophic. 😤 Houston will win more games because DeMeco Ryans is there HC...a great previous defensive coordinator. I hope J.G. can pull off the same thing against the Cowboys. The Texans will win 4 to 5 games and we will not get a top 3 pick from them.

Vikings and Broncos remain winless so far. Broncos lose 20-70! Wow.

I was being a bit sarcastic with the “catastrophic” comment, but for the purposes of this thread I thought it was appropriate 🤣

Bengals win MNF.
Bears, Panthers, Broncos and Vikings are the four remaining winless teams. By this time next week there will be two winless teams left, as the Broncos face the Bears and the Vikings face the Panthers. I’ll be hoping for Bears and Panthers wins.
We have a tough matchup vs the 49ers, and I’d LOVE to shock the NFL narrative writers w two weeks straight.
Texans play the Steelers, Titans face the Bengals.

Broncos and Vikings are both on the road next week. So far in 2023, the home and away game results are the same for these 4 teams. Lose and lose. I see the Broncos overcoming the Bears in Chicago. I see the Vikings overcoming the Panthers in Charlotte. Two outdoor stadiums. Fall weather won't matter -- unless there is an early snow job in the Windy City!

We need Bears and Panthers to win and Texans to lose. I think Vikings are better than their record, and Wilson will get some wins.

Guys,
Thanks for posting the newest odds rankings every week. There are different reasons the Bears and Panthers are 1-2 in the race. I think we can forget the Texans 'sucking' for #1. DeMarco is good for TX.
The Panthers will get well before that bad news Bears group gets its act together in 2025 or later.
I'm glad that the Cardinals are no longer in the 'worst team' conversations. Gannon & Co. changed minds for good with that convincing win over the darling Cowboys two weeks ago.
And, if the Cowboys somehow win over the 49ers next weekend, the value of the last Cardinals v. Cowboys win gets a bit more more ^^^ bounce.

Texans have an easy schedule so unless Stroud is injured, the Texans will probably win 6-7 games. That pick around #8-#11 -- maybe Bowers will be available there. Interesting that Panthers coaching staff wanted Stroud but owner wanted Bryce Young so they gave up draft capital to pick the wrong QB. I had stated before the draft that they should pick CJ Stroud. P.S. Fields did look a lot better and it looks like KM1 may be back not until the Falcons home game in Week #10.
