We should ALL place bets on the Texans to win their next game. At least we'd all make money if the curse continues You all bet, I get a 10% “responsibility fee” from any winnings.

Stroud having a good day is what 1st round draft pick QBs do once in a while. By the way, in my book of wisdom, a catastrophe is Murray destroying his right knee without anyone touching him! Today's Texans win doesn't mean crap with 14 games to go. Recommend everybody take a big chill-pill. Heck, the Cardinals might also win today. That's also not a catastrophe. You may also want to realize that Stroud is actually pretty legit and as I mentioned after week one, he on his own, is good for a few victories. Good for more than a few apparently….

Stroud (and Love) is legit after all. Example: This missive is exactly why I'm always careful what I write down. Someone will unearth a clay tablet that I penned and baked in the sun 2,900 years ago. Then I will be indicted for something I could not have seen coming in 2024 AD. Just don't hang me for a 2,900-year-old opinion about Murray. All said in fun! Thanks, B44.

I was one of the few saying right away to watch out for them, but they blew my expectations way out of the water. Nobody could have expected that huge climb. Outside of this year, I will actually root for them. Ryan’s was my top choice for our coach, so although I have sour grapes a bit, I will root for them. Next year….

Finally. 34-10, Baltimore over Houston. Our Houston first round pick will be between #25-28. Our Houston third rounder around pick #90. Our Titans third rounder is pick #71.
We will have something close to #4, #26, #35, #66, #71 and #90 in the first four rounds, plus #104 in the early fourth. Seven of the top 100 picks on our draft board, easily.

I believe that if either or both the Bucs & Packers win their game this weekend then the Houston pick would have fallen to #25 (if both Bucs/Packers won) or to #26 if one of them wins. I fully expect the Lions to win today so I think the Cards are ending up with pick #27.

Welp, the Lions won and the Bucs lost on Sunday. All the HOU draft picks coming the Cardinals way are settled. Pick #27 is the Cardinals to play with. Late into the night on April 25th, we'll find out if that pick yields what the Cardinals need the most: DL/OL, WR, et al. Or does Monti use it to trade up? *** It's weird to look at the Draft order and see the 4-win Cardinals lumped in with a bunch of 2023 playoffs teams starting at Draft spot #19 through #28 on 1/22/2024. The company we keep is improving! ***

Well good coaching and adding a few players from the draft sure had them much better then I dreamed lol. With a good running game and a stroner passing game and with some players added to the defense the cardinals could surprise next year.

If the Texans, Lions, and Packers can have fun thumbing their noses at the NFL's elitist snobs, so can the Cardinals in 2024. First, we gotta dominate the NFC West Division. Winning and respect begins at home.
