The TV announcers or local? Local Okay. The TV guys made some statements that they should have recanted and chose not to. As for McCoy vs Murray, all I care about is the win. I’ll let the season tell the story at the end.

Whenever I have to stream the game, it's difficult to do that and comment here. I just read the entire thread. Lots of spirited comments about our QB's....lol. But hey, it's a message board.
I will say for a back-up, Colt looked just fine. He did exactly what good back-ups do. Control the game without being flashy and make minimum mistakes. He gets an A.
This was a good win for us.....and we just beat last year's Super Bowl winner fairly convincingly. Yeah, they didn't have their starter QB, but neither did we. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a good day to be a Cardinal fan.

I would have wished for one more thing and maybe I missed it -- would have liked for KM1 to be over on the bench near McCoy and the receivers enjoying being up 27-10. I'll be interested in what the sideline reports tomorrow report and of course when Hard Knocks is aired for this game. Just my thought that KM1 and Hollywood Brown standing together at beginning of game is no problem but the supposed leader of the team not being in the bench area congratulating guys when the game is over with 2 minutes left is disappointing.
Colt McCoy got a victory against a good Rams defense and didn't have 4 starters on the OL. It seemed they rotated OL Coward just picked up this week and Cody Ford at LG. Remember Colt also lost one of the offense's biggest weapons in Zach Ertz during the 1st half. However what I really want to know is if Colt McCoy called the play or had a voice this week to run the fake WR screen and shot to DHop behind spot vacated by the LB jumping the screen. i didn't even know the play was on K2's play sheet as it hasn't been used once this year until today ... me thinks McCoy went to K2 during the week and suggested doing it.
The crazy thing is if somehow the Cards beat 49ers in Mexico City they could be in 2nd place in the division. Then after the bye week we might actually see DHop, Hollywood and Rondale Moore running routes.

Just as I predicted, another easy win for the Cardinals -- and just like the last regular season game against the Rams at Sofi.
At this point it is quite obvious that they are the best four win team in the NFL, and certainly better than any five win teams and many six team wins.
What can you say other than that this was a brilliant coaching job? Can you think of any other NFL coaches that could come away with a victory minus their starting offensive line AND their All-Pro quarterback.
I Think Not!!!
One thing this whipping of the Rams should accomplish is to put to an end to any whining about getting rid of either K2 or Keim. The only reason this team isn't on top of the division right now is because of BAD LUCK, and not the obvious skillful maneuvering by this two impressive professionals.
The next two games should also be easy wins for the Cardinals as the many injured players recover and return to the lineup of champions.

Two bad teams playing deep in their roster. But a win is win.

It was exciting to see Colt addressing his receiving corp (even Hollywood) on the bench and seeing the enthuisiasm they all had.
Didn't see K1 anywhere close. Kyler could learn about leadership from the veteran McCoy.

I've been looking forward to this game ever since it came up that K1 would likely be out. I wanted to see if McCoy would look, overall, similar to the way he looked last season against the 9ers in San Fran and against the Seahawks in Seattle. To me he absolutely did. Colt gets the ball out. It's not about who's a better QB, IMO. It just gives the impression that things are running smoothly and according to plan? It seems way less hectic/frenetic and a lot more like whoever drew up the play might know what they're doing. But still. Colt gets the ball out of his hand.
The 9ers run game is an absolute beast between Deebo, McCafferey and Elijah. Mexico City will be a tough game I suspect.

A couple huge rocks were tossed off our backs the last couple weeks: a home win, team scored a TD on opening drive, and finally the Cardinals beat McVay and the Rams (Kingsbury's 2nd win in 8 tries)! Now, we have other things to talk about: Is the Kingsbury / Murray combo THE problem? Or, is the HC the problem? Or, is the QB the problem? Is Kingsbury / McCoy the answer? Or, an answer in the moment? McCoy showed us that a new leader at QB using this abysmal offensive line can manufacture a win on the spot. Okay, the Cardinals win was achieved against another team with a losing record -- the 4th team picked on this season. McCoy proved to me that a Cardinals QB that goes thru progressions, reads defenses, and throws the ball accurately does best. Murray does all that too, just not consistently (yet). This team can win football games. How? Think, think, think. Minimize penalties. Eliminate mistakes. Study hard. Work together. Execute efficiently. All games are hard. Wins are the hardest.

The thing with KM is sometimes he makes getting big yards look easy, but he will 3 & out a lot too and make really bad turnovers. Kyler would have found a way to lose the game against the Rams.

The success in the game came when Colt kept things simple, stepped back and released the ball in under 1 second, going to the first option. To know whether that first option was him reading the defense or just going with the first option of the play call. The quick releases made the Oline look good, as they always do. When Colt held the ball over two seconds, it was trouble. Murray always seems to want a longer play, waits for that option to develop, and when it doesn’t the pocket is collapsing and he either has to dump to a safety net or run his way out of trouble and improvise. I’d like to see Kliff simplify the offense the same as he did for Colt next time Murray is back, plus mix in designed runs.

I’d like to see Kliff simplify the offense the same as he did for Colt next time Murray is back, plus mix in designed runs. Well several times I saw Colt do something which kept drives going. Colt on slants (K2 doesn't call many slants for KM1 - is it due to height issue?) would look at "Window 1" between Guard/Tackle and if it wasn't open yet or defender could knock it down he then reset and threw to "Window 2". Receiver got to the Center/Guard opening of Window #2 and ball was on time and delivered accurately for key moving the chains first downs. Heck early I believe in the first drive Colt hit R. Moore inside the hashes which I never see with KM1 -- again is this a height issue? Don't know if McCoy asked for these plays but I saw 2 plays run successfully that I hadn't seen all year: - Fake WR Screen and hit DHop for a 20 yd gain right behind the spot left by the LB who went to the screen receiver (R. Moore).
- Fake a Misdirection run to the right and Colt rolled left to hit a wide open TE McBride for what would have been an easy 10-12 yd gain EXCEPT Josh Jones was downfield too early. I have been calling for using misdirection bootlegs for KM1 for 2 yrs now -- like to see more of these whether the QB is Kyler or Colt.
