Official Game Day Thread Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals 11/6/22 Welcome Everyone,The Seattle Seahawks come to the desert Sunday for the second meeting of the season vs The Arizona Cardinals. In the first meeting Seattle pretty much dominated the game and ended up winning 19-9. Seahawk QB Geno Smith led the assault and was 20 comp out of 31 attempts for nearly 200 yards. Cardinals QB Kyler Murray was 23/37 on the day for just over 220 yards. Murray did throw an interception. He was also the Cardinals leading rusher with 100 yards on the day. Besides the interception and a lost fumble, the Cardinals did not provide adequate pass protection as Murray was sacked 5 times. Many of those sacks came at critical points in the game. Seattle rookie runningback Kenneth Walker III ran for 97 yards and 1 TD. I had noticed in the game of the week before when he replaced the injured RB Rashaad Penny. Last game Walker had 11 carries for 88 yards. Despite, The Cardinals being favored at home, today's contest is a tough game for a team that has yet to have a win over a contender in the 2022 season. Here are the odds and point spreads for the gamewww.si.com/betting/2022/11/03/odds-lines-spread-seahawks-cardinals-week-9Seattle comes into the game averaging just over 26 points a game; Geno Smith is the leagues most accurate passer completing 72 % of his passes. Smith also does throw interceptions and has excelled at the short intermediate passing game for the Seahawks. Seattle comes into the game 5-3 with a three game winning streak. The 3-5 Cardinals cannot afford any complacency. They did get to Geno Smith for 5 sacks in the October 16th game. UNDER CONSTRUCTION

arizonasports.com/story/3362894/cardinals-gm-steve-keim-alarmed-by-lack-of-offensive-consistency/Nov 4th: Keim is alarmed about lack of offensive consistency and production thru 8 games. Keim remarked that the offense has the right tools (of course the GM is going to cover his own butt as a defense against himself getting fired by Bidwill.). I know of no clearer message from the GM that the clock is ticking on the HC's tenure at ARI. If Kingsbury does not win 3 of 3 next games, I think his time at ARI is officially over.

Kliff will be just fine with his extension when canned. Consider it lost money (Thankfully not cap money) Michael and move on. If Michael fires Kliff if the Cardinals lose, I'm ok with Steve Keim stealing from MB and retaining his job for the near future. It would at least show me the owner cares about his organization and it's dwindling fan base.

News today that several teams called Keim about a trade for DHop, but we declined whatever was offered. He’s a $20 million WR next year and we are basically out of the hunt. Thoughts?

Because I think the Cards haven't shown me anything to date that they are a playoff team, is why I thought JJ Watt could have provided some value before the trade deadline Right now since I want SK to get fired and DHop is doing nothing so far but increasing his trade value ... let the new GM decide on that one during off-season.

One big difference between the first game against the Seahawks and now is. . . . there was no DeAndre Hopkins for the Cardinals, and there is now!
There is no way that the Seachickens can cover Hopkins -- he'll probably have 350 yards receiving and five touchdowns scorching the pathetic Seattle Secondary. Meanwhile, expect the superb Cardinals defensive line to improve their sack production against Gino Smith -- instead of just five sacks look for 8, 9, maybe 10!
I expect a late run by the Seachickens to make it less of a rout. . .
Arizona 41, Seattle 31. . . . . . .
