This defense shows how good it can be when one of its players ascends into being a very good player -- Zach Allen. Now just imagine how good this team could be if some of its high-priced vets came to play - - Marcus Golden -- PFF grade in the 50's and ZERO sacks after sitting out to get more $$.
- Budda Baker - PFF grade in low 60's and does he ever tackle anymore with his arms. Too many diving at knees as a would-be tackler without even attempting to wrap-up.
- Jalen Thompson- PFF grade in the low 50's before this week and dropped 2 potential INT's.
Also -- can we hurry and get T. Mullen on the field so Marco Wilson can slide down to #4 CB. I know the pick exchanged for Mullen moves up to a 6th rounder if he plays in so many games so I guess the way things are going Cards will only need to give up a 7th rounder as Mullen keeps getting "injured."
NOTE: I'll be interested how Harlow graded out as Rodney Hudson might lead the overpaid vets ($12.6M cap hit) discussion.

Another excuse. Murray's the QB. He's running the field operation. Man up. Think. Do. You want to be one of the best you have to make better decisions and quit blaming others. Know each and every scenario and make decisions according to the situation, be a friggen leader you are being paid to be. as Belichik would say "Do your Job"

Golden is just limited physically and why he has never been offered a big contract. We all love Junk, but man if you come out complaining about your pay, get a raise and then play like your lower contract its not a good look. Budda is another one that is just limited, little man beast, but he is little. I get a lot of flack for saying he is overrated, but he is just not making plays this year and wasn’t amazing last year. You need to be a game changer if you’re paid that much and he has not been that guy the last year and half. He forced a fumble in one game. One turnover caused in 5 games. Jalen is balling, but you gotta catch one of those INT’s, that last one probably wins the Cards the game. The first didnt matter as we went down and scored anyhow, but we could have done it in less time. I heard the run D looked good, maybe those who think that did not watch them run down our throats the last series and eat the clock. They have not given up as much in years past, but they did not stop the run when it was most needed yesterday. Hudson is done here, this season will be his last, if he even makes it through the season.

Baker is famous in the NFL for one play: Metcalf 'hawking' Baker on the INT. Since that glorious night, Metcalf moved to Millionaire's Row and Baker became Mr. Nobody in the NFL.

Daniel Carlson made kicks of 47,50, and 53 last night...15-15 fgs on the year...sigh... Speaking of K Daniel Carlson, a few shocking details. Carlson is a 2018 Raiders 5th Round Pick. And how does that seemingly insignificant detail figure into the Cardinals current Kicker dilemma? A: The Cardinals Kicker dillemma cost 3 points and a tie game last week. The dilemma might cost more FGs and XPs and a few losses in the near future. The Carlson backstory follows -- Mastermind GM Steve Keim traded up from 15th to 10th in the 2018 Draft 1st Round to get QB Josh Rosen, UCLA. Keim instantly raved that Rosen was the franchise's QofF. The sports media instantly smirked at Keim's fantasies. To close the Rosen deal, Keim traded away the Cardinals 3rd and 5th round picks to the OAKLAND RAIDERS. The Cardinals 5th round pick was used by the Raiders to select Carlson. And so it goes for the Cardinals mastermind.Carlson is the #1 Kicker in the NFL today. It is not even a close call. Some Keim fantasies are nightmares.

I assumed Oakland picked him since that's where he is today. I did not check all subsequent pick re-trades after the Cardinals moved the two picks to Oakland. Interestingly, the Vikings did not keep Carlson after their pick. He's killing FGs and XPs at the Raiders now. These guys move around as we know. The Vikings have 3rd year K Joseph on their roster today. His average is 66.67%. Keim still has a weak Draft record. Rosen is always going to be Keim's neck millstone.
