Sure wish this team didn't start the 2nd quarter in a double digit deficit every damn game.

Not 12 seconds…check it…there was 22 seconds. Even a quick out or one of his infamous look in screens could have been run.

Clock management…TO usage…situational football…not being aware of down and distance…AKA…coaching… It is almost always the small details that kills average teams. The Eagles can overcome their booboos. The Cardinals cannot. Did I just say the Cardinals moved into the average grouping? Yes, I did. That's a nice move up from suck group a week or two ago. Losing 20-17 to a 4-0 team is progress in a moral victory way.I agree. It's just a shame we make so many dumb mistakes. Take away just one or two of them and we could have beaten the only undefeated team in the NFL.

The Eagles can overcome their booboos. The Cardinals cannot. Did I just say the Cardinals moved into the average grouping? Yes, I did. That's a nice move up from suck group a week or two ago. Losing 20-17 to a 4-0 team is progress in a moral victory way. Progress in many ways but heartbreak in the end. My quick flash on this game shows about 5 plays which any one of them would have meant the difference today (I am not counting the missed FG since that would have just tied it) - - Eagles first TD was after a 3rd and long inside THEIR OWN 10 where Hurts is flushed to his left and while getting nailed somehow completes a first down to D. Smith amongst 4 Card defenders who I don't know how they didn't at least knock it down.
- Hollywood's crossing pattern in Eagles territory (1st half) that he bobbled and knocked into the air for an incomplete pass. Catching it on the run he would at a minimum taken it to the 10 yd line if not the end zone.
- Final Drive KM1 missing Ertz that would have taken the ball inside the 20 with the chance for 3 shots into the end zone for the win.
- KM1 sliding a yard too early and then somehow spiking the ball to setup the FG try. Incidentally 2 downs earlier Cards got a 1st down in Eagles territory where the spike was used even though there were over 40 seconds left. I wondered at the time why since the Eagles defense was reeling and this allowed for them to make substitutions and get a little breather. K2/KM1 need to realize chasing Kyler in the 4th qtr tires all of these DL/LB's out and put the darn pedal to the metal !!!
- Eagles TE was the difference for their offense - he killed the Cards on every important 3rd down it seemed. As I've said, seam passes down the hashes over the LB's is hard to stop - hope K2 uses McBride that way in the future.
- Of course it was the Eagles and not the Cardinals who took my advice and the leniency of the rules to push the pile 100% of the 5-6 times at 3rd or 4th and 1 to get a critical 1st down. As I wrote a lengthy post earlier this week I still am unsure why every team doesn't do this. Someone please ask K2 if the "mega-Watt" formation is still on his play sheet.

We continue to be laughed at…can’t win at home…can’t play in front of a dedicated home crowd without are season ticket holders selling out…spending an entire week to bring in a kicker who kicks it to the concession stands both in warm-ups and in the game…KK continually mismanaging the game and his QB…KK making high-school mistakes at this level…it just tells me…if we did get good…he would NEVER handle a game pressure moment correctly to put us over the top. It’s just sad that we will be continually laughed at…and hear him say…I got to do a better job in that situation!!!

There were mistakes along the way, yes, but I knew this game would be close and the kicker would be important. Even if KM gets the first or doesn’t spike the ball, it was still likely to come down to the non-money kicker. This was not a surprise to me. The weak spot failed as expected. Kickers win and lose games in competitive games.

I'm sure he knew....he just misjudged it. Still when the game is on the line and its close....no guessing, get all that's possible. He failed there.

K2 is not the answer...not even sure he is the question...bottom line is week after week (and not just this season) K2 relies on K1 delivering a dub from an L because of poor clock management and poor plays/play calling...
