My hope is the mods keep this thread under the Cardinals because Aaron Rogers actions of violating NFL rules and guidelines although not criminal are egregious and did have a negative effect on Arizona’s win loss and play off hopes or seating. Funny how the owner of Indy pushed for Pats to get discipline for their violations of NFL rules and guidelines and the league responded. The owners were definite preseason on Covid protocol and rules for players and staff. By Aaron not following the protocol and GB and NFL not enforcing him to do so puts all players and teams at risk of losing players or staff of opposing teams thus was the basis for the protocol in the first place to ensure guidelines to avoid interruption or shutdown of the NFL. Thus the loss of employment of several players and staff who are no longer employed by NFL based on not willing to comply or NFL removing them for noncompliance. There is speculation that Butler was forced to retire for refusing vacation or to follow all NFL rules for non vaccinated players (this also put AZ at disadvantage in win loss column due to losing a projected starting CB due to these protocols and yet Aaron Rogers is given a pass). Who is going to step up and enforce this egregious lack of uniformity in the NFL. Az has solid evidence that their roster has taken hits that have effected their chances of additional losses and were also effected in a negative way due to Aaron being allowed to play Thursday while others on GB were held out although Aaron if following NFL rules should have been in Covid protocol due to exposure in public and other known infected players and not being vaccinated himself. At minimum the Packers should have to forfeit the Thursday win. If tables were turned the Cards would have been crucified. If the NFL wants to avoid double standards this is a good place to start. MTDiesel, I am closely monitoring the thread and posts. The thread is very close to being moved due to the Rodgers and GB actions and NFL investigation. If moved, I will leave breadcrumbs so Forum members can follow posts. PutMeIn

I don’t personally like Aaron Rodgers, but don’t hate him either, and I absolutely respect his game. I think he should face punishment for not following the rules the whole NFL put in place, just to keep the playing field even. I disagree with the protocols, but the rules are the rules for this season. But all that aside, I watched his entire interview and the guy has the same views on personal freedom and individual choice that I do. He made good points and some weaker points, but bottom line is IMO an adult human being should have a “my body, my choice” type of right when it comes to injecting a new and relatively untested mRNA concoction into themselves. Well said I agree. The first paragraph is what I believe is pertinent to the Cardinals. Although I have personal respect for individual rights the keeping a level field is my focus in this thread. Unfortunately Malcom Butler is forced to retire or conform. Yet a face of the NFL is given a floater and given special treatment by NFL. What is the basis for knowing NFL had knowledge of Aaron’s non vaccinated status? Aaron filed exemption for his method of vaccination which was denied by players association. So the players union, NFL, and GB team knew his status, yet allowed different treatment by team as per other non vaccinated players and their game availability vs Rogers. Lazard was held out for contact reasons of a unvaccinated player, while in same person group Aaron isn’t although from official stance he isn’t vaccinated and from his personal stance is. The Players Union and NFL’s stance is the one that should have been followed yet Aaron was allowed to play and have contact with Arizona players and personnel on Thursday less than a week of his official infected status. The lack of following NFL rules and protocol exposed AZ team and staff to a player who should have been isolated due to non vaccinated contact status as Lazard was under. Thus putting GB at a competition advantage and putting Cardinals at additional risk factor. Which is a competitive disadvantage, but also a monetary disadvantage if a mass infection was to spread in AZ’s team that prevented future inability to field at team for a game which would result in Bidwell paying for players wages for both teams if game was forfeited and other financial losses. So, this double standard has effected AZ and may have allowed the win loss column to be altered, because Aaron should not have been eligible to start or play in the Thursday game. I don’t see NFL correcting this and unfortunately AZ isn’t going to push NFL into action.

Justice is done for Cardinals fans. The Commissioner may get his pound of flesh out of GB by other means. The HQ NFL decision depends on the investigation findings and recommendations.

I appreciate your positive hope, but the NFL is obligated to insure fair competition across league and discipline for ALL VIOLATIONS AND ALL VIOLATORS it isn’t up to karma per say.

Air pressure of a football warranted harsh discipline from NFL. Aaron Rogers actions and GB and NFL ignoring the rules and protocol on unvaccinated players was in their own words a violation of the leagues most important feature the protocols protect and that is player safety.. Thus the violation of such important rules would and should have severe consequences much greater than discipline NE anTom Brady were given for BallGate
Rogers should not have exposed AZ on Thursday game for contact violations thus there was a competition violation which should have severe discipline like a player involved with gambling would carry a heavy discipline for changing the outcome of a game.
This is an egregious series of events that Aaron, GB, and NFL should be disciplined for. AZ is due compensation for team exposure and be victimized by GB having un eligible player participating in a game that counts towards their playoff eligibility

The correcting action could come from another series of events. 1) Love and GB loses to KC Chiefs in KC, Mo. 2) Then when Rodgers is unable to play the next week, Love and GB loses to the Wilson-led SEA Seahawks in Green Bay, WI. Justice is done for Cardinals fans. The Commissioner may get his pound of flesh out of GB by other means. The HQ NFL decision depends on the investigation findings and recommendations. I dont think the NFL will do a damn thing to Aaron..he claims they knew all along I do think the NFL will penalize Rodgers and the Packers, and that penalty might only be a hand slap--if the team and player COVID-19 situation does not worsen. If someone becomes hospitalized or dies, or another team is infected -- such as the Cardinals at the TNF game -- and loses players at future games, the Packers should anticipate an HQ NFL punch in the nose. Rodgers was very deliberate with his words and actions all along. People just did not pay attention to the words and actions. Rodgers also ignored the NFL's COVID-19 mandates, and those documented actions could be his undoing, especially since he tested positive for COVID-19, failed to follow mandates, and put others at risk. The NFL is knowledgeable of Rodgers claimed immunization. The NFL judged Rodgers' claimed immunization process did not meet the NFL's vaccination standard. Moreover, Rodgers said something to the effect, "I am immunized." Thus, for him or anyone to claim that he is vaccinated is misrepresenting Rodgers' own statement. It is also accurate that non-vaccinated team staff and players are required to use additional preventive measures, such as masking at indoor team meetings, interviews, etc. The Packers and Rodgers allegedly did not meet the NFL safety mandate for non-vaccinated staff and players. Proof is multiple videos of Rodgers not applying preventive measures and potentially putting other people and himself at increased risk. Did Rodgers use a lax team process to his advantage? My view is, "Yes." The NFL's investigation will be thorough.
