The NFC West certainly is undergoing a major overhaul. The stack is completely flipped now. The change is going to last a long while.
The Cardinals wise guys have arrived and their big guns will dominate for years. Kingsbury and Murray are forcing a big change in thinking and strategy in the NFC West and across the NFL. Credit Reid and Mahomes / Harbaugh and Jackson for the exciting hybrid QB trends. Bidwill's and Keim's decisions are paying huge dividends.
The Rams bought some time after dumping Goff for Stafford. Stafford will get his yards and TDs, but his consistency is always up for debate and he's rarely won anything of value for his employers. Stafford's big test is the 2021 post-season. He historically has not done well against good defenses. The Defense is rock solid but very expensive to hang onto in future years. The team is based in a media-dominated city that has a 10-second attention span. When the Rams stumble, SoFi will be very empty. California taxes are killing player incomes.
The Seahawks are standing on the edge of an abyss. The hole before them is dark and the future is imperceptible. Wilson is past his prime. Yes, he can get the job done when healthy, but the hurts will now come more frequently and they will last longer. Seattle has to start looking for an offramp for Wilson. Trade is an option. Free Agency is the best bet and preferred by most teams.
The 49ers are true bottom feeders now, looking up at most of the NFC. Garoppolo is untradeable. Lance has potential and is learning on the job. Injuries for Offense and Defense continue to rob the team of its potential. And then there is the fact that the team is based in California. Players lose a huge percentage of earnings to state-sponsored program costs and leeches. The team is a mess. Here's an idea: when the NFL expands to Berlin, send the 49ers.

The question for the Cardinals will be can we keep talent after the massive contract Kyler will earn. We are exactly where I hoped we would be in year 3 of Kyler’s rookie contract, using the pathway to a potential Super Bowl several have used since the player’s union agreed to the rookie pay scale for a young QBOF, which allows a team to pay other impact players. The next step is to pay Kyler and develop talent in house through great drafts and top notch contract and cap management. The last few drafts look promising, but Keim’s history is spotty at best.

Reading the comments on those YouTube links adds a little salt to those NFC West wounds. The comment section does equate to one of the many rear ends of the internet though.
I don't know if anyone is on the hot seat at SF, but their coach does have a losing record. The links provided offer an interesting point. Besides collecting a paycheck, those players aren't looking forward to a transition year if Jimmy G can't bring them to the playoffs. If they continue to lose, we might see more dissention.

Some Trey Lance criticism:
From the link:
"To summarize, then, the 49ers had a veteran quarterback who is average at best and who can’t consistently stay healthy, along with the 12th overall pick in the draft, a third-round pick in 2021, and their first-round picks in 2022 and 2023."
I forgot about the first round picks. Thank goodness that the Seahawks and Rams hate picking in the first round too.

Imagine where we would be today if we were the 49ers. Serious trouble! I have never been to San Francisco. My show dog has LOL and that was over 30 years ago. She actually won there! Must still be some of that 49er gold there for things to be so high, Quarterbacks in San Francisco are expensive Three 1st Round picks & a 3rd Trey Lance Cost: The San Francisco 49ers traded their 1st pick in 2021 This was the #12 pick overall to Miami
In addition the 49ers gave up their 1st round pick in 2022
and a 3rd round pick in 2022
Plus The 49ers gave up their 2023 1st round pick as a part of this trade. This is not looking good for the future of the 49ers. And now Javon Kinlaw their 1st rd pick in 2021is not happy either. Trey Lance's PFF grade His PFF grade 66.3 I think Lance is a great fullback with all those rushing yards but now he is out this week. www.yahoo.com/now/pff-graded-trey-lances-first-220901769.htmlI spent about 2 minutes doing this In San Francisco: $346,593 GETS YOU THIS 2 BEDROON 2 BATH 896 SQ FT HOME FOR SALE no outside pictures available.
In Tampa Florida Twice the sq footage $324,990 GETS YOU THIS 5 BEDROOM 2 BATH 1999 SQ FT HOME FOR SALE
With the 22,000 left over you can buy a compact car.
A gallon of gas
San Francisco $ 4.19 a gallon
Phoenix $ 3.49 a gallon
Tampa FL $3.13 a gallon
S.F. must have nice beaches there, less crime, than here in Florida.

The 49ers team, downtown SF businesses, and the state have huge problems. The good old days are not coming back to California's big cities. Move out now, while the moving is safe.

The 49ers and the Seahawks are toast this season. You can put a fork in them as they are done. Jimmy G was never the QB the 49ers should have selected and on top of that he is not happy at all with them selecting Trey Lance. Trey Lance was a horrible selection for them. Without Russell Wilson the Seahawks are done as well. Russell Wilson is not happy with the Seahawks despite every saying different. They didn't go out and get him the protection he needed.
The only team we have to worry about is the Rams and even that we hold a 1.5 game lead over them as we have the tiebreaker against them. They aren't that good either. I don't think Matthew Stafford was the answer for them as he is use to being in a losing culture in Detroit.

I remember when 3/4 of this forum was outraged that we didn't pluck JIMMY G 1st.. Sometimes unanswered prayers are the best kind
