Both Seattle and San Francisco are 5 games behind us. Rams are the only ones to worry and they will fold like a cheap cot on a camping trip.

I just can't wait for Seattle to get back to what Seattle was which is a garbage football fan City and the end of this 12th man garbage.
You could get a seat in the Kingdom up top sit four rows off the field 50 yard line because there was no one there by the middle of the first quarter.
Bandwagon fans that wore 49er jerseys and cowboy jerseys and I'm sure they'll be wearing a lot less Seattle gear real soon with a half empty stadium.

I remember when 3/4 of this forum was outraged that we didn't pluck JIMMY G 1st.. Sometimes unanswered prayers are the best kind I was in the .25 camp, I think. I said, no thanks. He will be a nice #2 at SF. Or, maybe the Jets want JG now that they are QB needy. JG can get lots of dates in NYC.

Without QB Russell Wilson and no hope of recovery in the NFCW Division, the fans will bail on the team the rest of 2021. The stadium will be freakishly quiet in the weeks ahead. And forget "12th Man." More like "1/2 A Man" now. LOL! When the Cardinals visit the Seahawks, the environment could be pleasant for a change. The old Kingdome was indeed a pit. And many early fans were warm weather imports, as you said, from SOCAL, TX, and even AZ. There was little winning, loyalty, and spirit. Just a lot of rust and rain.

Just a lot of rust and rain. for awhile there we have owned Century Link field. We were the only ones that could go into Seattle’s house and win. Now, like Dandy Don Meridith use to say in MNF, “Turn out the lights, the party’s over.” 2-5 and lost 3 straight at home makes a terrible party so you are 1/2 man is appropriate.

I think I can answer that question very easily. He is from coaching blood, son of Mike Shanahan who coached the Broncos to 2 Super Bowl victories.

I think I can answer that question very easily. He is from coaching blood, son of Mike Shanahan who coached the Broncos to 2 Super Bowl victories. At some point, the coattails fall off and the free ride ends. Shanahan has 3 good records out of his entire career. For 2 of the 3 records, Shanahan wasn't the boss, just an understudy lackey along for the ride. Winner of the 2019 NFC Championship trophy is HC Shanahan's sole claim to fame based on HIS planning and teamwork, not somebody else's hard work like in earlier years. Funny that HC Shanahan does not also take credit for going to the Super Bowl, where he earned the second place ribbon like at the County Fair. It is hard to believe that Shanahan will survive the 2022 off-season. His hot and cold reaction to Garoppolo or Lance as starter right now is telling me that the HC knows he is standing on a trap door. The end is near. Shanahan has to make a QB choice (he did confirm today that Garoppolo will start the next game). After Sunday, who knows. Neither QB is going to save the 49ers season. Neither can save the HC.

I think Carroll and Shanahan are done at SEA and SF.
If Wilson hits the FA market, Carroll has nothing to work with (Geno Smith? Excuse me!) and he won't start over at SEA with a rookie draft pick from Shanksville University.
It's a certainty that Garoppolo is gone. Lance is the heir-apparent. I say apparent because he's about as raw as they come and a vet could fix SF's QB problem in an instant. Wilson maybe? Shanahan is living off 2019 post-SB fumes. One winning season out of 4 doesn't cut it in today's NFL HC process.
